READ ME!
This deck has been created so that people can do the following.
- Integrate the existing Alien deck at www.magiccarrot.com with quest and their new Conquest deck.
- Integrate the new Morden's Metals Exchange more completely with Quest by increasing the number of metals in the draw pile.
- Add a nice new P-card to use with your Alien pawn.
To fulfil these needs, the deck will contain the following cards.
001 Alien Hive High
002 Alien Hive Low
003 Alien Hive Closed
004-015 Alien Carrots 21-32
016-020 Gold Metal (standard card art as seen below)
021-025 Silver Metal (standard card art as seen below)
026-030 Copper Metal (standard card art as seen below)
031-038 Unobtanium Metal (a Beyea metal)
039-042 Mean Green Bean (An alien pawn P-card)
043 Free Spores
044-048 Conquest Alien Bunnies
049 Terrible Misfortune - The Common Cold (Kills all alien bunnies or spore bunnies on the table)
050-051 Additional Cyber Bunnies (started on my card art for these two boys. I'm doing a Borg (to go with the assimilation card) and a Cyberman (because why not.)
052-054 Undecided
If you have any ideas for card 052-054 drop it in the replies section and I'll consider it for inclusion. Below, you can see some of the cards that will be included in the deck.
This deck is meant to be an expansion to the original Alien Deck for people that want to combine Quest and Conquest. The inclusion of so many metal cards is to allow you to integrate Morden's with the following decks.
Killer Bunnies Quest Blue, Yellow, Red, Violet, Orange
Killer Bunnies Conquest Blue, Yellow
Magic Carrot Quest Alien Deck
This Conquest Alien Expansion
I have calculated how many metal cards I need based on the fact that the draw pile for conquest is 151 cards and there are 9 metals. This is almost 3 metals per 50 cards. As such I have added 3 metals per standard 50-65 card booster and 9 to the blue/yellow quest starter. The math isn't exact, but I'm sure it's about right. I haven't added any extra to the conquest starter as it already has its own complement of metal cards (obviously.)
