Davii, yes i believe so... Moderators? Don't think so... Maybe we should PM JP or one of the moderators and ask them that way, hopefully they get email deliveries?...

Hi guys. Yes, I'm back!
The amount and quality of artwork being posted lately is highly impressive.
Moosh, how are you going to run this survey/poll for all the nearly 200 cards?

maybe we should do a nomination type thing?... Other people nominate which cards from each person should go in and then make a poll from that?... Or a whole lot of polls...

Hi guys. Yes, I'm back! The amount and quality of artwork being posted lately is highly impressive. Moosh, how are you going to run this survey/poll for all the nearly 200 cards? The 3 ideas I was thinking was A: Have many polls with 20 cards in each, and the winner goes to the next round of elimination. B: Have people vote for people to be on a sort of "council" and those people will narrow it down to a easier set to choose from. C: Similar to B, only the council will choose the cards completely.

That sounds fun.

I didn't think you could have a poll with 20 options. I thought the limit was 7.
But even with 20, would you want the 19th card excluded merely because it was in the same pool of 20 with another good card?
How about something like the top 1/2 go on to the "next round" and make it like a tournament. With 200 cards, we'd narrow it down to 100 after the first round, 50 after the 2nd, 25 after the 3rd, 12 after the 4th, and just 6 by the 5th round, depending on when you wanted to stop (8, 9, 16, 18?).
Otherwise, I think the council idea, that narrows them down, has merit. But there should be some criteria upon which to make decisions, such as quality of art, quality of rule, cleverness of title, etc.

How about a rating scale for each card, like 1-5 (5 being excellent, 4 being good, 3 being fair, 2 being poor and 1 being terrible) for each category. For instance:
Quality of art: Is the artwork clean and precise? Originality of art: Is the artwork a fresh idea? Quality of card rule: Is the card free of any loopholes? Originality of card rule: Does the card mechanic offer anything new? Playability: Is the card useful? Balance: Is the card too powerful? Quality of title: Does the card title make sense? Does it correlate with the card's purpose? Complexity: Is the card confusing? Is it too complicated? Overall approval: Do you like this card?
And then maybe we can have a section for simple suggestions, like spelling corrections or whatnot.
Those are just some of the top things I would look for. What do you think?

I agree, but hate judging with a 1-5 scale because sometimes I want to give a 3 1/3 rating, and that just screws everything up...

Anyway, the 100 after first, 50 after second thing is what I meant all along by that idea. I personally also think we should go with one of the council ideas, mainly because I don't think most of the users will have the patience to load and read 200+ cards and remember which ones they liked best.

I just mock started a poll and was able to have 35 options...you just have to select the little text underneath that says something about needing more answer spots or something...

I stand corrected on the number of poll options.
I like omfgitsvico's categories. Have you completed your compilation of KB cards yet?

Have you completed your compilation of KB cards yet? Do you mean I should send links of cards to moosh? I wasn't sure what to do exactly. Do I send links of my own card ideas, or just cards I like in general?

I think moosh would appreciate both, but I'd start with your own cards. If the five most-prolific art posters send him links (you, me, Fif, mjibber, and samu), 80% of his work will be done.
But I'm sure he'd appreciate any help, since he's on dial-up.

Hey guys, I updated the thread to include Victor's cards, but I'm having the same link problem I did with Davii's, so I'll do the same thing I did then, but I need Vic to post his links on this thread.
