I actually like the more simple one better... I put it on all my cards and it does clash a little, but it's consistent on the cards so I think it works... look at mine and tell me what you think... www.flickr.com/fifisdeadany idea why I'm getting a random black background? the .png's don't show one and I made sure the background was transparent...

TheDavii, all my links are working for me now, which ones aren't working for you?
Also, when I started the thread I had in my head that the deck would be ten cards, so you would only have to buy each set of blanks once. 15 if they ever made a bunny blanks set 3. This way we could have them all be interesting cards without it messing up game mechanics. Also we just don't have enough cards even if we wanted it to be full sized, especially with your suggested two full sized expansions. With all the cards that are left over after the official ten are decided, I would make a MC card index, so that if people didn't want to use the official MC set, or make their own, they could skim through the other ideas.
I personally like the simple decal best.

Was it easy to apply as well (alignment, size, whatever)? In uploading to FlickR, it looks like they were converted to JPEG, which does not support transparency. (Support for transparency is why all of my uploads are PNGs, so they have nice, smooth edges). If one clicks the "all sizes" icon, the "large" size is your original PNG, but the others are converted to JPEG and have the black background. We might be able to look at the files and see what they're using to convert them. mooshamoosh: There are 8 cards in an official Bunny Blank set, not 5. The on-line template has 9 (3 x 3 matrix), which is odd too. So I'm not understanding your math. I was assuming that "Official card set" = "Official card deck" and a standard deck has 55/56 cards. My bad. There have been nearly 200 images posted here (around 176 that I have downloaded the images for, but some are not available on-line any more), so I expected that an "Official" deck (er, set) would have more cards in it than 8 or 10. How does this differ from the MC Card Hall of Fame (which is already supposed to be the best ideas submitted) if not a larger number of cards and the (not trivial) artwork to go with them? FIF added the decal to many of his cards already (in anticipation, but far more than 10 for him alone.) I checked out your edited message and you do have my links working now, so I removed them from my other message.

Sorry I had five in my head for some reason, I don't do very well with four hours of sleep. I meant sixteen cards total, twenty four if a BB3 is released, which is unlikely because they seem to be completely dedicated to JTJ. The point of the cards is to have a set of cards designed to fill the blanks, so we can have somewhat of an official complete set, and also so all the designated cards can be linked together with a common symbol of some sort. A bonus is that we can have a pretty good index of all the cards as well.

Davii It wasn't really hard to align at all. For the first 20 or so I turned the white ring in the middle the golden color so you couldn't tell if it didn't match up exactly but then I wised up and turned it black and it worked even better from then on...
Yeah, I didn't really use .png's a lot before this year so I wasn't sure if it was something that I was doing, One of my cards, weil of fortune I guess my background didn't have color to it and it turned the card black...
As you can see on flickr, I have about 30 cards, now I'm not saying they're great, and others have made some of these cards themselves, rather I made versions of their cards mostly so I could have them look the way I wanted when I printed them out...
I was thinking the official deck would be 55 but if we follow the format we have to have bunnies, feed the bunny cards, weapons, TMs and dolla to make the deck more legit...

I originally just wanted to pick the 16 most fun cards and make a set out of them, so MC users would have something affordable and semi-official that they could do with their blanks, since many would be buying them to get the PSI's anyway. I think the KB staff was careful when planing out how many cards to make, and when they made the blanks they took into consideration game balance and that is why they created two sets. I think 16 "party" cards wouldn't upset game balance, much as the omegas don't, they are just fun. I just wanted a great set of blanks to be available to MC users. Are you guys suggesting that we should buy the least expensive expansion and add printouts to every single one of them?

mooshamoosh, I think you are assuming that we need a actual card back (either BB or KB expansion set) on which to paste a MC.com "Official" card image.
If you look at the Black Bunnies, you'll see a Black Bunny Back. The color can be changed to just about anything desired (black was the hardest, because white lines had to be created to make contrast.) When I print cards, I have been printing my own backs (8 fit on a U.S. letter size page of 110-lb paperboard). I then print 6 or 8 (6 + 2 sideways) fronts on sticker paper to affix them to the backs. I use an inexpensive paper cutter from Office Depot to cut the cards straight, but an X-acto knife and a straight edge could work too.
Since my wife used to play KB over lunch at her work, all of the cards are in polyethylene sleeves (penny sleeves) to keep them clean, so the texture is exactly the same and the stiffness is similar (with the sleeves).
The back colors are different because I cannot precisely match the PantoneĀ® colors with CMYK process colors. But otherwise, they play exactly like the others.
If people don't want 56 cards (56 rather than 55 because 56 is evenly divisible by 8-- and there may not be 56 worthy cards), they wouldn't have to print any they didn't like. I would not include "One Carrot Ring", even though I did artwork for it, for example. I prefer my own "Married Bunnies" card, which is similar in concept, but different in execution.
mjibber has a whole 56 card set and he did a great job of keeping the balance and ratios for that set. As a group, we should be able to match that, shouldn't we? (Without taking anything away from his Chaotic Chocolate set).
How are you coming on your list(s) of eligible card art? Maybe there are only 16 worthy cards and the point is moot!

why can't you fit nine on one page? The bunny blanks templates all have nine, which is why I think blanks packs should have had nine instead of 8, I used one of mine and now only have seven more to use (because I bought Bunny Blanks packs 1 and 2)

The bunny blanks templates all have nine, which is why I think blanks packs should have had nine instead of 8, I used one of mine and now only have seven more to use (because I bought Bunny Blanks packs 1 and 2) Because of the practical limitations of many printers. 3.5" tall x 3 = 10.5". With an 8.5" x 11" U.S. Letter size paper, that leaves 0.5 inches for both the top and bottom margin (0.25 inch each). Very few consumer (generally inkjet) printers can have a margin that small. You can probably do it if you print on A4 paper. But who (in the U.S.) besides me has A4 paper? Try to find A4 sticker sheets from Avery in the U.S. Won't be happening. Avery LabelsManufacturers generally won't sell metric stuff here (to protect their margins, because they're afraid we'll resell it overseas where they jack up the prices on everybody else). Ever try to buy a non-U.S. keyboard in the U.S.? My old printer would shrink the whole page, so each card would be too small by about 5%. My current printer just cuts off the bottom at 0.5 inches (the top margin is smaller). On the count, I agree that there are 9 on their templates and there should have been 9 BB in a package rather than 8. (It is like hot dog buns being sold in 8's and hot dogs being sold in 10's or 12's!)

Right, I forgot about the margin thing, I had my mom print them for me on her laser printer that can print full page when I went home for Christmas last year...

Hey guys, I'm going away for two weeks, but I'll try to get Fifi's links up today. TheDavii, you had previously mentioned that you once downloaded a massive amount of MC KB cards. For the one's still on the web, could you get me links while I'm gone? Or if that's to much work, could you send the file/files to my email and I'll upload them to the internet and post links? That would be greatly appreciated. My email is: mooshamoosh@gmail.com.

I'm going on vacation the same time, so no, I don't have time to find the links.
I could zip the graphics, but aren't you on dial-up? I'm not sure how the card creators would feel having their art hosted elsewhere.

Alright, I'm back from vacation and ready to get back to work. Is TheDavii back? Also, have any moderators returned to the fold? It would be nice to get some administrative input into all this. It's good to be back!
