Once I get at least one carrot, I'll always abduct myself because I rarely see HEMP in our games & I usually am very bunny-rich in my card selection. IMO, there are just too many mass attack weapons that can wipe out the circle & leave you high & dry toward the end of the game, so I find it's useful to put one bunny aside as early as possible.

Do any of you ever abduct your own bunny? When your outgunned and outnumbered it's a good strategy to abduct yourself. Because you can still play Choose-a-Carrot cards while your only bunny is in space. This does not seem to match my understanding of the game. I thought that if our only bunny is abducted, you can not play aggressive cards. Choose a carrot cards have the pick square that says you can not play them

Alot has happened since November 14th, 2004. JB has said that CaC's are aggressive.

Just Curious but we were playing a game the other night when my bunny was hit with the Trojan Bunny card. Since I wanted to use a nuke i abducted my bunny with the trojan... now we werent quite sure if that took it away or not. The bunny bits do say that abduction takes away clovers and equipment cards... but does the Trojan Bunny count?
BTW I know this is a rules question but I saw the abduction thread so I thought it might be relevant.
Thanks for any insight.

trojan would be lost, as it is considered equipment.

I agree with LotH 100%. Trojan bunny goes bye-bye. Good strategy.

THe only problem I see is that if you abducted your bunny and it was your only bunny then you wouldn't be able to nuke your opponents.

True... but maybe near the end of the game, if you don't have weapons... it might be a better option!...

it might be a better option!... ...until someone HEMPs your tail!

...thus the perfectly balanced game of "Killer Bunnies" trumps all attempts to loophole a way to victory!

Just curious (and a little off topic) but has anyone ever used HEMP more than once via the Yellow Pawn?

I used it 4 times - my first roll was a 1, then a 4 (yellow pawn re-roll), then another 1, then finally a 10 (yellow pawn reroll again)...

Ahh...what I should have said was: Has anyone ever been able to use HEMP on two different targets?

I haven't personally... but I've been on the recipient end of one of the launches by a friend of mine that used that card to it's maximum. As I remember, he didn't even have to reroll the second shot when he shot down someone else...
