Hi there,
Was in a game last night and my opponent attempted to use Splash the Zero on my Bunny (that had zeroes) that had a heavenly halo on it.
I did not see this expressly mentioned in the Companion Guide.
I'm sure everyone on the forum is familiar with these two cards, but just to write out the exact language:
Splash the Zero from the companion guide: "Splash the zero may be used once by a player to sacrifice 5 water units to eliminate any bunny in The Bunny circle that have at least two zeroes in the bunny's card identification number."
Heavenly Halo from the companion guide: "Heavenly halo may be placed under any bunny in the bunny circle and protects it from all harm, hunger, misfortune, and abduction."
Of course the problem is that the game uses the word 'eliminate' in Splash the Zero, which is a vague word. My initial reaction is that the heavenly halo bunny would NOT be a viable bunny target for Splash the Zero since I see in the chart that a card like 'Island Vote' says that it does not affect the Halo bunny, quote, "No (can't be harmed and discarding is harm)". Since Splash the zero basically creates discarding, rather than the 'gambling' that heavenly halo is mostly supposed to be susceptible to, this led to my initial reaction.
Just looking for confirmation.
As a side note, I know that Splash got changed from 'one' zero to 'two' zeroes and that's the standard of play. In the case that someone did play it as 'one' zero, would holographic bunny be susceptible to it? Again, initial conclusion is a 'no' for similar reasons to the above.
Thanks!
