We were thinking of having to have TWO triplets to play two cards in a two player game. IF somebody gets a triplet early, they seem to get all the cards, while the other guy tries to keep one or two bunnies alive. What do you guys/gals think?

my mate and i increased our hand to 7 and had a run of 3 and you always played two per turn and when you had three bunnies you played the third.
i knows its not really that different but it definitely sped the game up and reduces that disadvantage that you get without a triplet.

i play heads up vs my friend constantly, sometimes 3-4 times a week. The triplet is the worst to deal with. Our games are split pretty much 50-50 into games where one of us has the bunnies the entire time, or we both have triplets. It is this randomness that makes us laugh the most.
The worst is winning precession and having all the zodiac cards. You arent worried so much about not having bunnies. because you are going to win the zodiac draw and take a bunny from him, the worst is when he pops the magic spatula on me to stop the zodiac draw.
