For the longest time I had no idea Hare E. Potter and Lord of the Bunnies were Omega cards... they came with my Blue/Yellow starter. I checked the Blue card listing on the main website and sure enough they're not listed. Is this a new thing? People around here who have played longer that I have always refer to them as Omega cards.

Honestly, they have blue just so they look like the other cards They won't be listed on the card set because they are indeed Omega cards and not part of any specific color set (Blue = 110, Yellow, etc. = 55). Either way it's great that you have them! use them in good health Bufo3000

Yeah they have blue backs but don't come with any sets. They hand them out at conventions and demos and stuff.

I'm apparently the only kid in my town that plays the game, so the Assistant Manager (also a fanatic) gives me two Omega cards every time they get a new deck in stock. ;D ;D ;D

For a while now, the last few Omega Series cards have been inserts in Game Trade Magazine. Costs only $1.99 and you get the card and a magazine about upcoming games and stuff. Funny how people turn around and try to sell the card for $20+ on eBay...

I wonder if they will still do that because I will find one and pick it up!

I can't remember offhand which issues had them. I'll try to look through my collection for you later. The lastest issue came with a free expansion for Ticket To Ride...

My point was they did indeed come with my starter deck. I didn't obtain them separately. Obviously they'll still be considered Omega cards, but I think they're coming with starter decks now...

Not to cast doubt on cdweller posts...just to put my two cents in... I work at a game store here in Albany and we have a slew of LotB and HEP cards to use as promo material...I tend to give them to people who are buying the game -or- have the game already yet are missing the promos...I do what I can to get people into this awesome game... Maybe these two promos are now being packaged w/ the Blue Starter...who knows (not me) *BB01*
P.S.-Maelic...I love your tag line...Army of Darkness rocks!

What kind of discounts do you get working at a game store? I'm between B&N or Air Traffic (my local game store).

I bought it in Sept '04 from the playroom entertainment online store. Not likely that it would matter, I assume game stores get the games from the same source.
Anyway, guess I'll just be glad I didn't have to pay for them since I don't do Cons and wouldn't even know where to find my local gamestore.

Speaking as someone who recently purchased the game, they gave both these cards to me for buying the game. They didn't come with it, he handed them to be from a box behind the counter.
