Is this possible?
1) Beyea alien moves. The shortest route is through one of the Jupiter's places on the board (but Jupiter is not there), so it moves and lands inside the soon-to-be Jupiter's orbit.
2) Planets rotate. Jupiter runs into the Beyea alien, destroying it in the process.
Also, can a Beyea alien get on a planet/moon and hitch a ride in the orbit?

From the bunny bits "An aliens’ ship will move in the same way as the player’s ships move, but must move directly towards the target ship avoiding all restricted spaces, markers and other ships. An aliens’ ship will avoidshadow spaces if planets are due to arrive soon. The Beyea Aliens are smart aliens." So no the Beyea aliens would avoid such a space. Also being that the aliens are "smart" however still travel "DIRECTLY towards the target ship" then the only two ways I can see for a BA ship to be on a planet would be
1- the target ship was next to the planet. But this would result in a fight that would be resolved before the planet moved. In this case I would say that if the target ship were destroyed then the BA ship would "ride" the planet around for 1 turn.
2- the planet was in a direct line between the BA and the target ship. So how smart are the BA aliens? I would surmise that they are smart enough to avoid "landing on" a planet and be carried away from the target. But this could be argued. I don't think they are "smart" enough to hitch a ride on a planet to get closer to a target bunny.

Where I agree with Costguy's interpretation entirely, we do play a house rule where the controlling player (that being the player who played the card) can make the Beyea Aliens ride a planet or moon to get them closer to their prey IF THE CONTROLLING PLAYER WILLS IT. We like to credit the aliens with that intelligence. We also switch control of the alien to another player if the alien is chasing the controlling players ship, just to make the BA's evil consistent. It's down to you though. Like I said, house rule.
