Can a player who is adjacent to a Beyea Alien on their turn, play the "HAL 900" card against the Aliens and force the Aliens to break off their pursuit and fly towards the sun?
I know other Special cards can be played on the aliens but this one is strange because it redirects the aliens into oblivion.
Also, if someone else plays a "Detour", the Beyea Aliens are supposed to lock on to the next nearest target. However, HAL 900 is still sending the Aliens into the sun?

The aliens would lock onto the next nearest target, but they would still move towards the sun. Thus, don't play Detour on an alien ship under control of Hal 900.
