This card (the one with the Spider-Man reference ) has 3 images of the future in the card details that will be included in future expansions. These are; - Transport Pods - Pylons - The Yellow Ball with the Red Stripe The art on the card has a picture of The Yellow Ball, a carrot, a pineapple, the minilith, a bunny, a pawn and a flat dish shaped thing with a red centre. My guess is that the pawn is a "pylon" and the dish is a transport pod. I wonder if pawns and the ball will be used the same way as in QFTMC? What do you think? I was guessing that transport pods could be launched from Earth to carry bunnies to ships but they wouldn't be able to collect markers or fight. Once again, what do you think?

I think there's a very good chance that the Pylons are the Pawn equivalent. But we never know what kind of subtle chances CTA could make from QFtMC to J2J. We know that the Minilith now effects the game completely differently than before and IMO, the value of Carrots has increased quite a bit. I would like the features of the Yellow Ball, the Pylons, etc. to pay homage to their uses in Magic Carrot, but I am really looking forward to seeing how they work uniquely for J2J.
If the Pylons are like Pawns, they would definitely be more powerful if they can increase the power of a ship, make bunny triplets, allow P's to be saved, AND allow the re-roll of the dice of that color.
But of course that's just speculation. I don't really know how they could change the yellow ball, but after reading your review for Laser Red, I have no doubt that it will be something unique. This is, after all, JB's favorite game of the trilogy!

If I'm honest, I'm inclined to completely agree with him. J2J is rapidly growing in my estimation as being entirely awesome. My monthly Killer Bunnies nights always have a game of J2J now! My mom doesn't like it so much. She says it's a boys game.

Yeah, my mom is the only person in my family that doesn't play Killer Bunny, so isn't that a co-inky-dink! It's been a very good month for Killer Bunnies in my house! I believe we've had something like six games of Magic Carrot and at least four games of Journey to Jupiter. Pure Bliss.

Oh my mama loves Quest! We once spent two rainy weeks in France doing hardly anything but playing it! With Kinder Bunnies. Those 30 carrot games are just epic!

If you roll a 2, you get to relocate "any bunny in space". I assume that you relocate it off a ship and use the coordinate system, right? I also assume that bunny will probably die unless it lands on another ship?

Yeah, there's no other way to play! I don't think I would fare well in an official game, because I usually help the other players in need, but the infinite variety of how the games can go always amazes me! We actually had a Quest game with all the cards and all the carrots and it only went two hours. It was definitely a record for me.

This is, after all, JB's favorite game of the trilogy! Really? Where did you hear that? When I was talking with JB two months ago, he indicated the unreleased, unnamed 3rd game (the one often called "New Orleans Odyssey") in the trilogy was his favorite. "Journey to Jupiter" started life as "Rooney's Asteroids" and CTA reworked it to be a Killer Bunnies game. Its origins predates Quest by a few years.

I've left my bunny bits at work so I can't check but I don't think it specifies the use of the co-ordinates system. I imagine you can place the item anywhere you want! And Davii... Playroom has their own 'plan' as to the release of Jupiter Booster decks, but I am still hoping for two a year. Seriously, please realize that PE and CTA work independently on quite a few issues and 'release dates' are clearly in their ball park. FYI: Jupiter was started on June 1st, 1988 under the name of Rooney's Asteroids and has morphed into the game you know now (J2J). The third Killer Bunnies game will be released in 2010 (early I hope). I have completed 12 full decks so far for a total of 2,340 cards. I still like J2J best. It's halfway down the Lazer Red Funagain status topic by the man himself

No, in the bits it does state to use the coordinate system.

Yep, I went into work just to check. Co-ordinates it is. If the bunny lands out "in the black" in definitely dies.
