Hey all - just want to know how you play the "Carrotton Torpedo" - My wife played it on me, and doesn't agree with how I interpreted the card. As far as I can tell, Level 6 has only 1 warhead - so one attack - and level 8 has two - two attacks. I've interpreted the book to read that the person who played the card uses the purple dice for the first attack - but which die does the defender use??? Does the defender use whatever dice they are supposed to depending on what strenght their ship is - or do they also use the purple die? I wonder this because in the rules it states "opponents roll the same die that they would to defend their ship in battle (Dice power)." If a level 8 card is played, for the second attack the attacker uses the orange dice - again...which die to use? But as my wife has claimed, this makes no sense. This is total crap for the person who plays the card. It gives them no advantage to playing it and makes the defender/opponent very likely to win - unless of course they have a weak ship. So, please, help me out - how does this card get played out? Nathan

As far as I can tell, Level 6 has only 1 warhead - so one attack - and level 8 has two - two attacks. Correct. And Level 10 has three attacks. Correct. A ship's die power is used for movement, lasers (attacks), and shields (defense). Yes, and the defender uses whatever die power their ship is to defend. The defender could be using the blue die and roll a "1". Die rolls are unpredictable. I've seen a Level 6 torpeodo successfully hit a ship using the green die for defense. It all comes down to luck.
