These are pretty unique places on the map because the directions say these are Restricted Spaces but it looks like Markers can exist on these four places. Under the section WGLP it says "Markers that are placed on a WGLP will stay in place and travel with the Jupiter system until they are claimed by a ship."
What would happen in these cases, though:
1) A Wormhole opens up on a WGLP and destroys a ship carrying a Carrot marker. Would the Marker get placed on the WGLP or would it be replaced on the board using the coordinate system?
2) During placement of the Carrots, one is supposed to be placed on a WGLP. Would you place it there, or reroll for the coordinate system?
My opinion is that in both cases, the Carrot marker would be placed on the WGLP. Anyone disagree?

I agree they stay on the WGLP. Since ships can be adjacent, they can still pick them up. Plus, it's thematic, the Monolith was at the Europa-Jupiter Lagrange point.
On a similar note, I'm playing that if HAL causes a ship to go into the sun, the markers stay on the sun at the point of death, and can be picked up by being adjacent.
{Edit: And I take it back. Wormhole says that if the ship appears on a restricted space the item is placed back on the board using the coordinate system. WGLPs are spedifically called out as restricted spaces in the bits for restricted spaces.} PS...where do you find links for J2J bits and rules online?

I think it says in the rules that if a carrot is placed on a WGLP shadow it stays there until Jupiter reaches it and then it stays in place in that WGLP moving with Jupiter.
However it doesn't mention about whether carrots are picked up by a planet or moon if placed on those shadow spaces.

On page 13 of the Bunny Bits book, under the section "Shadow Spaces" it says: "A carrot or Minilith marker left on a shadow space is 'picked up' by a passing planet and remains with the planet until claimed by a player."

From the rules Any time that a ship lands on a Random Location space it must come to a complete stop. Any extra spaces awarded by the ship's Movement roll must be forfeited. Therefore yes!

but it says also in the rules that they are restricted spaces and as such cause a ship to be destroyed if they are sent there by wormhole. what i was asking was if the spaces that are labeled comet shelly (the blue space with the words comet shelly), if those are restricted or just the rest of the spaces attached to that space
