Cool news... although I am kind of annoyed that it isn't mixable with Quest for the Magical Carrot. EDIT: Oops, I messed up, I meant for this post to be in the "GTM article" thread. Sorry.

I would like to say April, but I'm just optimistic.
You know the goal for the 1st expansion would be to release at Gencon and they can't release them one after another.

In comparison to the Book Vico... Yes it does!!... I haven't even had the nerve to see the sequel and I would probably be wasting my time if I did.

You know I've been looking at all of the pics that are currently out there for J2J and I've got to say that right now I'm feeling a little let down by the cards. I think it is the design/layout of the cards, not the illustrations that is under impressing me. I know that it is a different game and therefore going to look different from Quest but from what I'm currently seeing I'm a little apprehensive now. Can't put my finger on exactly what it is... Still looking forward to Jupiter, just hoping I will feel differently when I'm actually holding all the cards in my hands. Anyone else felling this way after looking at the new pics? Or is it just me?

yes, you would, especially if you didn't think the first was great... The first movie isn't bad and I will watch it if I am flipping through the channels but after reading the book I like any reader have complaints about the transfer of the material to film but understand that the movie "has to" have some Romantic involvement for the movie industry to produce it and for audiences to connect with it. Rico and Carmen were just classmates NOT dating in the book(in fact he barely knew her). This is not to mention that there are NO women in the Mobile Infantry so the shower scene is a complete fabrication and(I'm not even sure if Dizzy existed in the book and that's provided that she wasn't converted from male to female for the movie). But I like the concept of the citizenship and the discussion that happens in the shower scene demonstrate the power and responsibility(and possible death during military service) that citizens have over ordinary people.

Dizzy was in the book, and I'm pretty sure was a guy. However, he dies pretty d**n quickly in the book. Either in the first battle that they start in or the next one.
