Here's the article from Game Trade Magazine 96.
[glow=red,2,300]THE JOURNEY TO JUPITER IS ABOUT TO BEGIN...[/glow]
"It has been six years since Killer Bunnies were unleashed upon the gaming public, in Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot. The funny little card game with a lot of satire, strategy and even more dead bunnies became not so "little" when the final expansion of Quest brought the card deck total to 715 cards. Still, now that there are no more expansions to come, Killer Bunnies fans are asking for more.
In response to this demand, Playroom Entertainment is proud to announce the long-awaited, Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter! Part card game, part board game and a whole lot of off-the-wall strategic fun - Journey to Jupiter introduces all new hysterical card references and images, while it brings Killer Bunnies into an entirely new dimension!
Fans of Quest will recognize the card-play aspect of the game immediately, as the Run Cycle mechanic has been left unchanged. Flip, Play, Draw, and Replace: easy enough of a starting point for anyone, be they new players or veteran Bunnies fans.
However, a fresh new mechanic has been introduced in Jupiter: Bunnies in space! Jupiter includes both bunnies and ships in which they must launch into space, which is represented by a hex game board. Once in space, players must move their ships based on their speed, which is altered by color combinations of the ships themselves and the bunnies that are inside. Ship strength is also determined in this fashion, which makes space battles very interesting.
As players traverse through space, they must avoid being attacked by other ships, vying to collect little carrot tokens that will be redeemed for actual Carrot cards once safely brought back to Jupiter. An added obstacle: the planets are always rotating in Journey to Jupiter, so timing is a big factor in the success of your return.
Social interaction, including alliances, making deals (and breaking them) and the like, is a big part of this game, like in Quest.
Continuing the tradition of humor and satire in the KB line of games, Jupiter brings new cards and images literally to the table, with details in the artwork that are sure to amuse players as they read the clever tie-in text and mechanics on the card as well. Many eager fans have asked what the parodies are in Jupiter, as there were many references to pop-culture sources in Quest. While actual cards cannot be revealed, yet, players should rest assured that there are tons of new hilarious cards that feature great allusions to television shows, movies and books that we all know and love (of course, many science fiction and space parodies, given the theme of the game)! In fact, the five sets of bunnies and ships are each themed in a specific way, with much more to come!
A few answers to the big questions that have been queried:
Is Jupiter mixable with Quest?
No, it is not. Jupiter is its own game, with similar card mechanics to Quest, but with board game play and card interactions that would not work with Quest cards.
Will there be expansions for Jupiter?
Yes, there will be expansions! We recommend starting with the base set and learning the mechanics, first. Then, add expansions as you go to add new cards, mechanics and more strategy!
What kind of dice are used in Jupiter
There are some wild dice in this game, including a d6, d8, d10, d12, and d16! Each are used for specific combinations of ship speed and strength. And yes, they are included!
When will Jupiter be in stores?
Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter will be in store mid-spring of 2008!
"Will you start your battle on the ground with an Atomic Whisk or a deadly Dwarf Deathstar? Or will you use the Flax Energy Net or set the Bunninator loose to wreak havoc from ship to ship? Defend your bunnies against Fembots and avoid a Cosmic Calamity! at all costs.
There'll be no shortage of wheeling, dealing, bribery and extortion, as you Quantum Hop your way through the solar system, causing carnage, collecting Carrots and cruising through the galaxy on your Journey to Jupiter."
Yep, we can't wait, either!"

There is a picture of the board and some of the cards, also. Here are some of the titles I can read. "Fembots, Place the Minilith, Hal 900, Moon Rake. They also picture 2 Carrots. One looks like a Predator. His name is Peter. Another looks like Bender. In the actual catalog, it says "Scheduled to ship in April 2008."
