Maelic, you never mentined if the version you show was fun. Do you like it? How does it compare to KB? How about games overall?

I've really only played it a handful of times, but I have enjoyed it when I did. It's definitely a completely different breed of monster than Quest. It's basically a light tactical wargame, with the added randomness of card draws. It's a little rough around the edges, but it has a lot of the same humor and fun spirit of Quest. I'm definitely looking forward to seing how it's been cleaned up and improved over the years. The original version only had one expansion that extended the board and added some more cards, so it will be interesting to see how they plan on extending it even further.

Well, you have to remember this was the original version of the game. According to Tyberius and emails with JB, the game has been completely revamped. But even Quest doesn't just have cards in its expansions; almost every Quest expansion has come with a bit, whether it be another die or pawns, that change the game slightly. And from what we've been told about the upcoming Mysterious Places, they will add a bit of a boardgame twist to the game as well...

Maybe you're right. I might be getting them confused with something else that adds levels to the Bunny Circle...

As Tyb said, the game is incredibly different since that (ancient) version that Maelic posted. I actually have the first version as well, and have played almost every other version along the way. Jeff has done an incredible job revamping the game and making it every bit as wonderful (if not better, in my opinion) than Quest. There is a little while before it will be released, but I think you guys are going to really dig it once it is... -elisa
