Oops, sorry Elisa!
If the game was being released by Christmas then there would be something on the KB website, they have said NEXT YEAR.

Why not Quest 2? It's a different game.
Yes the overall goal is to get the carrot. But there is a lot more planning to get to the carrot and it is much easier to mess with the other players. I think it will be a wait and see how the game with play out with the existing base. I think some people will not like the game and look at it as more of the same. I think the game will pull in more of the board game group, which will lead to more quest sales as well.

why does J2J have a different name if it''s just another Quest to find the magic carrot?... Because Quest to Qupiter just didn't make any sense.

I took da bunnies to the Chattacon holiday party this past weekend. The game was interesting because only hubby and I stayed in the entire time. We only had one very small table in the room so we could barely fit 5 people to play. It was even one of those cast iron patio tables so we had to roll the dice in a box to avoid falling through the table. Because of that, people would take turns playing the other 3 hands. I am betting we had probably 12 people play over the course of the game.
Chattacon is a sci-fi convention with lots of gaming going on and they have asked me to be a game master at the convention with my Killer Bunnies. I don't mind sharing the bunnies, they were going with me anyway. I am the president of the nonprofit corporation that hosts this convention so it's pretty easy to get me to do stuff that will make the con a success and I think KB is a great game to share with this crowd.
I was talking about J2J while we were playing and the games coordinator begged me to see if we could demo the game at the convention. I very obviously don't have J2J to show and was wondering if some of the insiders could put in a good word for our convention and maybe get some interest in either coming to the convention (I happen to know there is space in the dealers room and since no one in town sells KB it would be possible to find an eager market) or sending a game to demo. Pleas please please check into this for me. Our typical attendance at Chattacon is around 1200 people and I am betting if we have KB going all day it is bound to spark some interest.

I don't know anything about conventions, nor have I ever been to any. (sadly)

Since as of right now there is only one copy of Jupiter around (Jeff's) I don't think it is going to any cons anytime soon.
However, it will be out in the spring so that will help.
As for Playroom going to a con as a dealer, the don't go to Origins anymore so I would not hold your breath.

Chattacon is in January, so maybe next year. I will share the bunnies and just have to tell everyone they cant get it here and hope they look for it later.

So, out of curiosity, why doesn't Playroom go to Origins?

Origins has gotten too small.
With Gencon moving to Indy, and the dates so close to each other, it is not worth it.
Last year they had Bunny Patrol (or whatever they are now) run the events and sell the product.
