Heheh. Someone was selling the entire Delta series through Khaki on there a couple months back for ~$200.
Actually, I'm surprised with all the various movie/pop culture references in KB that we haven't seen an appearance of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch yet.

Oh, I didn't buy it (a little too pricey for my tastes). The guy originally posted it with a $400+ opening bid. There were no takers, so he reopened the auction with the $200+ opening bid. There were no takers for that one either, and I haven't seen him try auctioning it again since.
I lucked out with J2J. I got it for a mere $17. I guess I can actually thank the gamegeek snobs who turn their nose up at Killer Bunnies so much that no one else wanted it.

Heheh. No, I'm hanging on to this little piece of KB history (as well as my two COMPLETE sets of the Omega Series cards released thus far). ;D

No. I'm definitely not trying to brag or piss people off. I just got lucky and have been a fan of the game from early on. I managed to get the first two OS cards through conventions and contests on the Playroom Entertainment site. The rest of the OS cards have been fairly easy to get as they've been inserts in Game Trade Magazine. Another good way to get copies is by pre-ordering games from the PE website's store. I'm far more envious of those who have gotten a chance to see what's to come by playing the game since it's Sarsen's Stuff days or in a Master's Game.

Haha, I was kidding about you trying to PO people...but anyways...
Yeah, I'm surprised the game has this large of a fan base, so I only found out about the game when I was wandering about in Air Traffic a little over a year and a half ago. The game caught my eye and I've been addicted ever since. I want to find someone who has played the origional version, they would be my God.

That's sweet maelic, good to know we have some original fans around here. You are very lucky to have the J2J game but I can't wait till the new one comes out and it'll be all Jonathan-ized. Because I'm assuming the artwork is styled differently.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see Jonathan Young's take on the game. The original Creative Artist, Alex Alexander's, artwork is quite similar to JY's though.

Thought you might find the original game description from the back of the box interesting:
Killer Bunnies & the Journey to Jupiter The bunnies are back at a faster pace... ... and zipping along through outer space!
Here's what you get: Each player starts with 5 bunnies, 3 space ships and a squadron of DeLorean Fighters.
Here's what you have to do: Travel to different locations on the board like Earth, Mars and of course Jupiter. Maybe even Space Station Deep Dish 5. Collect special objects like the Magic Carrot and the unbelievably mysterious Minilith.
Here's the problem: You have opponents. And they're looking for the same special objects. And they have ships too.
And to complicate matters: Maybe their ships have Ship Modifications like Self Destruct, Sensor Probe and Temporal Hiccup. Or Nasty Weapons like Carrotton Torpedoes and Space Whiz.
If you're the player that can bring a magic object and the Minilith together at the right location then something is going to happen... something wonderful... YOU WIN!
<Oh my God, it's full of Carrots!>

That last line is yet one more genre reference found throughout Killer Bunnies, in this case 2001/2010.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see Jonathan Young's take on the game. The original Creative Artist, Alex Alexander's, artwork is quite similar to JY's though. A little bit of artistic history: I am actually the fourth or fifth "artist" that has worked on Killer Bunnies. Alex did a big part of the Delta Series Booster Decks, but the original Blue Starter (versions A, B &C) were drawn by other artists earlier in the project. Alex drew all the images for the original Journey To Jupiter (that project was completed before I joined the staff). My job as the "graphic artist" was to take all the various drawing styles and create a comprehensive and consistent look. In the various Decks currently on the market, there are only a few of my original drawings; however, I have redrawn just about all of the images. In the Booster Decks to come, the artwork is more of my work (you'll only see about a dozen of Alex's artwork in White/Steel, and the remaining Boosters are all mine). Kinder Bunnies is all my work, and features a slightly different look -- bigger ears, bigger feet, bigger eyes -- more cute, less sinister. As far as Journey to Jupiter, I have not signed on to the project just yet. I most likely will be the "graphic artist," but I may not be the lead "artist." You'll notice on the Killer Bunnies web site there is an advertisement for artists -- this is one of the reasons why. Okay, art history class is over ... Jonathan Young Bunnies Graphic Artist PS: If you have an original Delta series deck, you should get your deck registered on the Killer Bunnies web site. Each of those decks were individually numbered with a collector card. Click on "Bunny History" under "The Game" for more info. My collector card does not have a number -- it mearly says "Jonathan's Deck"
