Me and my mom were playing up to the Red pack, and she kept getting tons of bunnies. I only had a bunny once. The game ended with her having five bunnies, me having one. I love the mini black hole. But she had 13 carrots, I had 3. She won. Yesterday, we added the Violet pack. about a third of the way through the game, we both had two or three bunnies, yet I had two carrots, and she had 15. I hate mystery urn. But then I played Weil's freshness center The game then turned in my favor, getting 15 bunnies and 17 carrots. the winning carrot was Presto, who I had. Yay, me.

One of the things, though, that I love about this game is that even if you seem to be on the "dirt"-end of the stick for the majority of the game, if you're imaginative you can affect things in big ways with creative uses of some simple cards (Steel Lining, in the Stainless Steel Deck is great for lots of stuff). Furthermore, I've seen a good many games won by the person who just squeaked in with a bunny and a CaC at the end of the game. Glad to see you're enjoying, though. Great game to play during rainy January days in the Twin Cities (ugh! )

Oh how true about a bunny CaC squeak at the end of the game, I've lost with 17/20 carrots before, not a fun day at the end of all that...

The worst is when a person with 1 carrot wins... and it's not me!

Bah! I enjoy the game so much that I don't even care who wins. I just like being in the mix at the end. It's no fun have no bunnies or no carrots at the end of the game.

If you dominate the game (i.e. get 12 bunnies, have all the supplies, all VSs etc.) it really doesn't matter if you win. Whether or not you get the right carrot isn't as important as feeling powerful.

Well, sometimes it's nice to win sometime. My friend that I got to play has now lost 10 in a row only when she's playing with me. When she plays with other people she wins. Guess I'm just a curse. At least that means I win more often...

The only sad part about domination is that it makes your opponents hate you enough to buy pricey weapons. If that doesn't stop you from winning, they'll probably stop playing, which is the ultimate defeat.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggh!!!!

When we play there is usually a side of the table that is much bunny heavier than the other. Usually the two people are sitting next to each other and we end up just putting barriers around them and us consequently and hope we can reak havoc on them, because it doesn't appear that the others can win anyway, but I still hate when I don't have at least one bunny and have to discard some really good cards just because I have nothing else to play and I have saved asll the Spec and V. SPec cards I currently have.

I played twice with my brother last night. At the end of the first game, I ended up with like 9 or 10 bunnies to his 1 or 2. And I won. The second time we played, my brother was the one with 9 or 10 bunnies and HE won. If the table is lopsided like that, it's A LOT harder to win when you're the one with hardly any bunnies down. Especially when you can't even play a CaC card because you're afraid as soon as you put it into you Top & Bottom Run cards, your only bunny will be snuffed.

We taught a new recruit to play the other night. He's an avid gamer, so we just threw him to the wolves, using all of the decks on his FIRST game. He caught on quickly. TOO quickly.
Before too long (okay, about two and half hours) the game was nearly over. I realized that I was utterly hosed. He had quietly sealed a deal with another player, causing me the loss of all my Dolla and the destruction of all of my bunnies. This was quickly followed up with the Choosing of the last Carrot. My final hope of victory vanished when he used The Magic Spatula to stop the draw of the Zodiac.
My Carrots went to him, since he had the most Dolla. In the end, from our group of five players, the rookie collected 19 of the 20 Carrots. Smug bastich. Imagine his surprise when he still ended up losing. Ah, sweet satisfaction.
Needless to say, he'll be back this weekend for a rematch.

That's hilarious. That's probably going to be his "The One That Got Away" story.

Or 'The Conch'--if you actually had it.
