I played this weekend and was schooling folks horribly at the beginning (Double free agent first card, bought a pawn and never looked back - had two cards the entire game...)
But I ended up getting bunnies galore! So when I flipped them over, I ended up giving them to other people right away - first to folks on either side of me. It created the same buffer in the bunny circle and people didn't heave weapons at me because of my generosity!
Granted I was playing with three girls, and they don't gravitate towards weapons naturally (except the 8 year old - she's RUTHLESS!...) - but it did provide an interesting aspect that netted me the majority of the carrots at the end... and, of course, the win. And everyone had a great time.

I am big fan of the generosity factor. Then I can always lay a guilt trip on someone later. You never know when you might be in tight spot.

Boy Sir Fobos, I would love to play a game of bunnies with you. The guilt trip thing just doesn't work on me. The only time I ever feel a bit of guilt is when .... ah, never.

I've only felt guilty after a game of bunnies once. And once she let me out of the guest bedroom, it went away.
