When using cards to feed the bunny, I always try to use high-amount cards for two reasons:
Reason #1 - there will not likely be enough change (or the right change) in the discard piles. Thus, I can take change from the draw piles, reducing the amount of cards that are left available to buy. Plus, the draw piles will soon be biased with high-amount cards. After getting my change, if I have the dolla, I'll buy more cabbage and water cards knowing my odds are better of getting larger amount cards.
Reason #2 - Breaking a high-amount card into smaller amounts for change leaves me with more physical cards. The more cards I have piled on the table, the less likely someone's going to waste an FTB card on me.

Sweet plan. Gotta remember this one, only thing is that I don't get the large cabbage and water cards too often.

I guess with the new rule change, this thread is now for naught.

The second one still could be helpful...(if you're playing with people who are too lazy to look through your cards).

":: If a player needs change in KABALLA DOLLA, Cabbage or Water, then he may take it from the discard piles. For example, if a player needed to Feed The Bunny 4 Cabbage and the only card that he had saved was a 5 Cabbage Card, then he would pay with the 5 and take a 1 Cabbage Card in return from the Cabbage Card discard pile. :: If the right amounts of Cabbage (or Water) change do not exist in the discard piles, then keep track of what the game 'owes' you on a small pad of paper and take the change when it becomes available. The same is true for KABALLA DOLLAs." (from the Blue/Yellow Bunny Bits epsilon 3)

Actually, I think this discussion was before that was added to the rules. But welcome to the boards!

My idea was indeed before the V3 rules were posted online. V3 killed the idea. Welcome to the board. (For the love of all that's good, somebody resize Mizi's avatar!)

It's only that big every once in a while. Right now it's fine.
