hmm a thought just occured, when you buy weapons from the market they can be played immediately, right? well that would technically mean if you had say ten dollars (or any amount) you could buy say, the whisk ten times(or any amount) and use it immediately ten times..... phew...thats a lot of shame!!

Weapons that are purchased from Rooney's must be run through you silly Aussie! And even though the rules don't say it, I belive a card must be discarded as well when a weapon is purchased.

On the LOW prices card for Rooney's, weapons do NOT need to be run through.
Also, I believe that, if you buy a weapon (or a bunny, for that matter), you forfeit your card draw for the turn. if you buy TWO weapons, you must discard a card... you have to maintain the equilibrium of 5 cards in hand/2 card down.

That seems a bit harsh. Besides, you can make purchases at any point during your turn, even at the end. So if you buy a weapon card, or a bunny card, you have to discard an unwanted card. If you buy 2 weapon cards, you have to discard two cards from your hand.

So it is possible with the low prices to continue to buy weapons, and play them immediately, is there any rule that anyone knows that suggests the opposite??

my 2 cents.
I consider it a cheesy tactic to draw after buying weapons or vice versa.
Yet there is no rule against it.
I'd have to agree with Jason on this one. Yet I notice the players that do this know the chaff from the wheat and choose accordingly.
AND STRAIGHT from the red deck rulebook. when you buy a weapon from rooney's no matter what the cost, it must be run through!

*ummm* ya know im going to have to say that you have to run that through the run, and soo even though the new low prices card doenst say you have to run them through, the only thing that should change would be the prices on the low prices card....

The low price on Roonies specifically says that it may be played immediately. As far as discarding down to 5 cards, that only happens when your turn is over.

Yep, it is cheesy, but legal to buy three weapons after drawing up and using them to cycle your hand.

The text on Rooney's Weapons Emporium reads:
NO weapons can be played immediately when bought from Rooney's, regardless of level or price.

Card number 301. Orange Booster.
Rooney's Weapon Emporium (R)
Market is open with New Prices 1 Dolla - for each Defense Card 1/2 Level - for each Weapon Card (Weapons may be used immediately)
Seems to me you could play many many level one weapons.
