Get it, 'hopping with traffic'? Good one Rachel. I hope all the one-liners that show up around here aren't as cheesy! Welcome! Jason

Well great forum so far, thanks for the invititation from the yahoo board, hope you 2 can make it down for the tournament this weekend, be forerwarned, we will be using the core through purple. I do not think enough people have played the other booster decks that much, everyone is taking their time and keeping the game fresh. I am hoping for tier 3, which more than 16 people, but either way we get a whole day of killer bunny fun.
I see by your picture on the main page that you already have every Omega card i will be giving out on the tournament day, and since this is my first tournament (just became an agent), i have no t-shirts to give out yet. Hmmmmm......what to give Jason if he shows up at my 1st tournament?
Brush up on your tournament rules, they will be enforced.
Nice site by the way. David

Trust me, no brushing up needed. You're talking to the guy who reads and re-reads the rules every night before bed.
And core through purple? No pawns? No buying bunnies back? Aren't these tournaments supposed to show off all the latest and greatest KB decks? Ouch.
Ah well, I will try my best.
And don't worry about the prize, if I win, I will donate it to a friend of mine who doesn't have any omega cards. Also, I am definately coming and so is my wife and possibly 2 others. We should be there between 12:30 and 1:00. (It's gonna take us 3 hours to get there!)

The decision to cut the Orange and Green decks is thus: Only two of us have the full complement of product. Most people around here like i said are keeping the game fresh for themselves and only adding boosters as a pick me up.
The store is willing to open enough boxes to make decks for the tournament, but not all of the boosters. We don't make enough KB Profit to warrant such a rampant display of Inventory shredding (even though i want to). As it is, any boxes we open i am going to try and sell as a "played once" product at 20% off.
A second reason, was time constraints. I am sure there are going to be many people at the tournament, But when all the shops are closed, games can last a long time, hours even. (I am sure you were aware of that one) If i get a minimum of 16 people, that calls for 4 games of 4 each, top two from each game get split into two two-man games, with the winners facing off against each other in a final game. More than 16 makes the games grow exponentially in size and number. We could theoretically have a second tournament start right after the first, but I am sure there will be many side games, and other bunny fun.
And this is going to be a monthly event, so on November 20th, we add the orange deck to the tournament. I am not sure about December yet, a large portion of our KB players are college students, so the 3rd tournament on December 18th we will be adding the green deck, but turnout might be a bit lower. We shall see.
Hope the drive is safe, and if you get lost or need directions you can call us at the store 607-432-5722

Ah okay, I understand now. Hmmmm.. I'll have to brush up on my strategy for the limited deck. Too bad we couldn't add a few more 'Choose a Carrot' cards to make the games go quicker.
I was thinking of becoming an agent but my store is like, an hour away and the manager already has KB tournaments every 3 months or so. I missed the last one though.
I got directions already, I found the address for the store from a local newspaper article when I googled the store.
Don't forget, the white booster deck comes out in January, and Agents get them early and are supposed to hold demo's to show them off. So people better start using all the boosters or they're gonna fall behind.
Do you actaully work for the store?

Yes i work for the store, I have known the owners for 7 years or so, they are working on a business model which calls for an expansion in their third year (next year), and i wish to be the one managing the expansion. So i am learning now. Still growing!
White deck in January? Where do you get your information? I hadn't heard that one yet, although i figured by March maybe. That's awesome, now I am all excited.
Oh yeah, everyone is getting an omega card, there is a $2 dollar entry fee, and the winner either gets KB product, or store credit. There will be prizes for the second place finisher, and everyone gets Omega cards, so hopefully that's enough forthe 1st one, after this though i need Playroom to help a bit, I still want Omega 6 and 7, need em bad. I have seen Djarnak and Bunnies Eleven on Ebay for like 40-50 bucks a piece, and i dislike how rare they are, and how many Hare e potter's and Lord of theb unnies are mass produced it seems. At least i have the Conch for the tournament decks.

Well, I know something is going to happen in January. When I asked Jeff about updating the website with a White Preview he said:
"Hint hint all you want. Not until January. Besides, the next product to come out is Kinder-Bunnies!"
I have no idea what that means, but your guess is as good as mine. According to his release schedule:
2005: Twilight White and Stainless Steel 2006: Perfectly Pink and Wacky Khaki 2007: Ominous Onyx
Looks like one every six months.
I know what you mean about the omega cards. I almost had a Bunnies Eleven a weeka ago and I've never come across the Djarnak anywhere. But there's a half a million Conch's, Flo's and LOTB's..
I'll get it eventually.
Jason
P.S. Hey I could use a deck shuffler! That would be a good prize!

Another tidbit. The domain Kinder-Bunnies.com has recently been registered to Mr. Bellinger.

Wanted to let you know I love the site, and I like the message boards too. I'll try to use them some, but being a newbie, may be reading more than writing .

Hello.
I have just joined this site/forum (I come by way of the yahoo group). I read some of the messages on that board and this one (all of them, actually), and I must say this seems a nice mix. It is great to see so many new people jumping on the bunny-wagon, and I myself have lots of questions (and maybe even some answers) about how people like to play (with regard to the many amibguities in the rules), so I look forward to hearing the opinions of some of the experts.
Eebster
P.S. If anybody in SF/Berkeley/Oakland area is interested in getting some play-time, I've a gamestore owner friend who's already gotten on board carrying the full KB line, and I think he'd try hosting a KB night at the store if there were a small show of support from some locals. Lemme know if this might be you...

ok here goes.
ive never posted (except letters to my grandma) so i hope all goes well. well the game down here in perth western australia is only just available in stores and ive been playing for about 8 months thanks to my american wives cousins sending me every expansion that comes out as well as a lotb card. i just wanted to say gday and tell you about our wall of shame, we have a rule that if anyones bunny falls to the might of the whisk, they have their photo taken with their head held in shame and the whisk held high. we then print the photo and pin it up in the games room to be the laughed at. cruel but very amusing.

Wow, our first international member! Good on ya mate! I hope your finding everything okay and if you think the site is lacking anything or see something that could be changed, let me know! I love the wall of shame! That's priceless! I would do that but my wife may get a bit dodgy about having her mug up on the wall of shame. Jason

I agree the wall of shame is a great idea. I haven't played enough for it to take effect yet, but I'll keep it in mind for the first time it happens...
