ok guys got a weird one.
Run Transformer (violet booster deck) Special (White rectangle)
"May be used once by a player to transform any Run card into a Special card which may then be played immediately from a player's hand."
say you have a triplet. it is the beginning of your turn and nothing has happened yet. You use this card as your 1st card of your turn,
Does the card you turn into a special card to be played from your hand count as your 2nd card, as per your triplet?
My group has filp-flopped on this a bunch lately. Depends on the person playing it. Maybe you guys can input on this one.
I say no it doesn't count, because of the wording of the card. "immediately" is the operative word here.
so what do you say?

with something like using specials we go throught the motions. put it in our saved pile move our next card up then use any saved specials so it only counts as one turn, but we think its better to show people what ur doing so they dont get suss.

No. You are allowed to run as many down and saved special cards per turn as you want. The card transformed using the Run Transformer counts as one of two allowed specials from your hand or top/bottom run cards if you have a bunny triplet, but the Run Transformer itself does not, assuming it was down and saved.
IF you play the Run Transformer from your hand, that is the first of two, then the run card you are transforming is the second of two.
At least, those are MY house rules. Mayhaps we can get official word?

Here's my take:
The Run Tran Card 'becomes' the Run Card of your choosing so they are kind of one and the same.
So you may use the Run Tran from your hand and a Run card and it would only be one turn. Think of it like placing the Run Tran on top of any Run Card giving it Special Card PRoperties.
If it was saved, then using Run Tran and the run card wouldn't count as a turn at all.
You can use as many saved Special and Very SPecial cards as you want during any part of your turn.
So no, Flip the Run Tran and use the Run Tran plus the designated Run Card and that's your first turn. Then slide your bottom card up, draw 2 cards, then replace the bottom run and then play the new top run as your second turn.

Totally good idea is to Run Tran a bunny in your hand when you have none on the board, and if you have a nice amount of Saved Special cards, start abusing them. I pulled that trick off in my last game where it was presumed that I would lose the game (no bunny=no magic carrot) and I played the combo, activated a ton of Saved Special cards and ended up having a better chance at winning the game. ^^ ;
