For those who didn't see it on Facebook, Sand Box Gaming is running a kickstarter for a very deluxe Killer Bunnies storage / game play solution:
Bunny Box Kickstarter

I was thinking of it, but I missed the highest tier with promo cards and I'm not just too good with self-assembly to really want this otherwise. Honestly, looking on their numbers, the 20 backers with highest tier form more than a half of all backers! If they re-open and increase that tier, I might try it.

I saw it! But I saw it too late and didn’t snag one of the Golden Bunny Boxes. *sigh* I backed for the Etched Bunny Box, but I really really REALLY hope they find some way to offer more Golden Bunny Boxes. Only making 20 was just plain mean.

Hey Davii! Yeah, sorry 'bout that. Got caught up in life and such. But I'd like to become more active around here again, if you'll have me.

If loth and HOTDOG make an appearance, it'll be a reunion. I haven't splurged on the box since it's not made to accomodate my toys

The Kickstarter is what brought me back TBH. I pledged with the hope of snagging those promos—if they make more that is. KB was my first love in the board game community, and I still love it, so I just HAD to go for it.

I noticed on the Kickstarter, in the picture for the Etched Card Towers, that they have Violet etched into the box with Purple written above it but crossed out. Is that an inside joke or something?
Also, anyone here have insights on the upcoming “Highest Relative Bunnies” and “Spaceships”? I’m intrigued!

I think the inside joke with Purple vs. Violet is a disagreement between Jeff and Jonathan, lol. I'm very excited to find out what the new mechanics do. Specifically, I find it interesting that the Spaceships have their separate discard pile (similar to bunnies and weapons), but don't have a dedicated shop to buy them back. They must have a mechanic within themselves to consistently do something while in the discard

I think the inside joke with Purple vs. Violet is a disagreement between Jeff and Jonathan, lol. Jonathan explained it at the 30th Anniversary Killer Bunnies Bonanza. They used to use "purple" and "violet" interchangeably. But they decided to use "violet" because of its similarity to "violent," it is, after all KILLER Bunnies.

They must have a mechanic within themselves to consistently do something while in the discard I fully expect that we'll see elements from Killer Bunnies Odyssey incorporated into Quest. Odyssey had spaceships, cities (which were landscape oriented like Bunderground Stations are), aliens, penguins, transporters, a Bunny Circle, a Center Circle (which was like orbit above the planet), and some artwork for future boosters will come from Odyssey.
