Toucan Play That Game says:
Toucan Play That Game (1194; Creature) May be used once by a player to replay any card that was used by the current player. All cards conditions apply. May be used at the end of any player’s turn. If a player runs through a card, but decides to discard it, would that make it eligible for replay by Toucan Play That Game? Or not? The reason I ask is that part of "play" is the ability to discard a card. But, given the card name (and possibly the intent of the card), does it require that the card was used in order to "replay" it?

I'd guess you are correct in assuming the intent of the card is that it requires that the card was used in order to replay it. If the bunny bits had said "replay any card that was [played]" this would probably include discarded as it would be the same wording, "play" as the rules for the Yellow Ball which includes when an opponent intends to discard it. The bunny bits specifically use the word "used." I can't recall if this exact wording is in any other card ruling in the bunny bits. Unlike the word "played" which refers to the standard playing of the top run card, I think the word "used" implies any card that was resolved during the turn including any saved specials played, but not including any discarded cards as these were not "used". It's possible this interpretation could be incorrect, but I think the most likely intent is that it can replay any card that a player actually used, not discarded. This is the simplest ruling and fits thematically

To bump an older thread here.
Just to clarify - does 'replay' in this card mean the same as Bunny on the edge of forever - where all items that may have been won / gained through that card are returned? If so, since it's "at the end of any player's turn", does that mean that all actions that may have spawned out of that winning / gain must be returned too? For example, if I won 10 dolla through supplies surprise as a basic example, and I used it to buy a carrot, do I have to return the carrot and 10 dolla, and then we 'redo' the supplies surprise? We can also look at losses / deaths. An example here would be a mad mad where my bunny was killed. Do I get the bunny back first and then I 'redo' the mad mad? Does that include any bunny modifiers that were on it?
Or does 'replay' in this instance mean I get an opportunity to play the card again, still retaining the wins / losses of the original play of that card. Here 'replay' doesn't mean 'reverting', but rather 'additional chance'.

tastypastry It's not like BotEoF. If an opponent uses a Choose A Carrot card during his turn, then at the end of his turn you can play Toucan Play That Game in order to choose a carrot for yourself. The opponent would still have the carrot he had chosen. Nothing is returned or redone like in BotEoF, it's simply like Alliteration Situation where you can just re-use a card.

Perfect, 'additional chance'. Thanks for the clarification.
