A bit of a contradiction here, but it may be safe to assume that Jeff forgot what ORP does and assumed I was asking if ORP could take away saved Chinese Zodiacs (which ORP can't because it's not one of the options on the roll. Furthermore, ORP cannot even attack a player with a saved zodiac) Will cards that normally affect Zodiac cards affect the new Chinese Zodiac cards as well. Jeff: Yes, absolutely! For example, can ORP attack a player with a saved Chinese Zodiac? Jeff: Yes. Mahobear8, can you help me understand why you think this is a contradiction? Are you thinking that because a Chinese Zodiac is a subset of a larger class of Zodiac, that the same ORP rule applies? Until the next booster is released, do we have enough information to conclude that a Chinese Zodiac interacts with Zodiacs in any way (like being able to form Triplets with them)? ORP says it cannot attack a player with a saved Zodiac card. A Chinese Zodiac card is not a Zodiac card. ORP can attack the player. At least as far as we know today (do you have the next booster deck already?).

The first question there was "Will cards that normally affect Zodiac cards affect the new Chinese Zodiac cards as well?" Jeff's response to this was yes. I would assume that based on this response ORP would also interact with the Chinese Zodiacs as well, but Jeff's response to the second question says that ORP can attack a player with a saved Chinese Zodiac. I may attempt to get a clarification from Jeff to find out for sure.
