I know that the companion guide that you guys put together takes a lot of work, and I am greatly thankful for all the time and effort put into it. We use it at every game, and couldn't play without it. I was wondering, however, if anyone had the chance to purchase the Deluxe rule book, and add anything that might be in there (such as the fan cards that are now available at PE's website). I don't have the funds to purchase the book, and I was hoping to add any additional info on those cards in the guide you guys put together. If not, no worries. Like I said, we use what you guys have put together at every game. Thanks for everything you do!

Tom To wax philosophic for a moment, time is the most valuable thing any of us have since we can't buy any more of it. MagicCarrot, the web site and the message board are hobbies for me; they have to compete with everything else in my life for time, just like everything else. Each year, I wait until after GenCon to see what might be released and may be "coming soon." Previously, when I've released updates in late July or early August (I have a bit more time in the summer), changes had to be made almost immediately. I do plan on another major revision of the QCC (for the Zeta series rules), along with a new revision of the JCC and a CCC. As it stands at the moment, I had partially updated the QCC earlier in the year. However, with the new Zeta rules, a thorough review is necessary to ensure that the rule changes have been adequately captured. I have also started a Conquest Card Companion, but nobody has stepped forward to proofread or otherwise assist. As it stands, it'll be released when I have the time to finish it. Additionally, I've been completely updating the JCC to bring it to the level of the CCC. QCC actually needs the most work and I wouldn't expect to see it before December. All three of them will be in "red letter" versions where everything canonical is black and the fan-revisions are red. People can print in pure black if they want, but everybody can see what comes from Creative Team Alpha and what comes from fan clarifications.

I should re-mention, as some of these things get buried in the forum posts, that the PDF of the Quest Deluxe Edition Rule Book was posted by Playroom Entertainment. However, it is organized by expansion, and not alphabetically but apparently by card number. [SARCASM] Because that's how everybody uses a reference like that. [/SARCASM]
