So we play with all the decks and a few fan made cards including It ain't over til the fat bunny sings. This card lets you place a card face down under it, which is played after the last carrot is drawn, but before turning over the small decks of cards. The other day, someone put psychic waves under it.
Since this is a weapon that could target bunnies, we determined that even though it was the end of the game, we could use defense cards to defend against it. Then someone asked if they could use TMS on it. We thought yes. But then someone asked if they could use Misdirection on it, since its a VS just like TMS.
Anyway, all the bunnies died except for one in space. My question is, for this last "ghost" turn, which cards are usable and which aren't? Are very specials usable at any time? Could I have used a saved special? Comments?

Could I have used a saved special? Comments? What you described is the havoc that Fat Bunny Sings (FBS) was meant to unleash! Since I am one of the folks who have done a FBS (there are something like 5 versions floating around), I will answer thus for the one posted on MagicCarrot.com: Since the Fat Bunny Sings introduces a mechanic that works after the last Carrot (much like the Zodiac or Psi cards), the regular rules have to adjust to it in a logical way. In this case, when the FBS-hidden card is played, Opponents may respond using any Very Special cards that apply in the situation. - Defense cards can be played in response to a Weapon hidden under FBS.
- Run cards can only be played if the Player (the one whose turn it is) has not actually run their Top Run. This could happen if the Player buys a Carrot before playing the Top Run.
- Special can only be played if it is the Player's turn (again, the one whose turn it is) in place of their Top Run. This could happen if the Player buys a Carrot before playing the Special.
- Very Special can be played on anyone's turn, so these can be used to respond to the card hidden by FBS.
As long as a card is otherwise legally played (now after the last Carrot, rather than before), it is fair game to play out what the FBS set in motion. Since it is a requirement to have the card in-hand, no Rank, Terrible Misfortune, or other non-Runable cards can be placed under FBS for later play.
