Terrible Misfortunes must kill a bunny if one exists: even a Heavenly Halo'd bunny. My question deals with the priority of Heavenly Halo'd bunnies when a player draws a terrible misfortune. - If a player has a Halo'd bunny only, and there are no other bunnies in the bunny circle, it seems pretty clear that that bunny must die.
- If a player has two bunnies down, one that's Halo'd and one that's not, he'd obviously want to kill the non-Halo'd bunny.
- What happens when a player draws a TM, has a single Heavenly Halo'd bunny, but there are other bunnies in the bunny circle? Must he kill his Halo'd bunny first since he drew the card?
- What happens when a player draws a TM, has no bunnies of his own, and an opponent has both two bunnies, one of which is Halo'd? Can he choose to kill the Halo'd bunny? Or does he have to do that only in a last resort?
- What happens when a player draws a TM, has no bunnies of his own, and two opponents have bunnies: one opponent has a standard bunny, one opponent has a Halo'd bunny. Can you choose to kill your one opponents Halo'd bunny? Or do you have to choose the non-Halo'd first and only kill the Halo'd bunny in a last resort?
My questions could basically be summarized as this: can a Halo'd bunny be killed by a terrible misfortune if there exists other bunnies in the bunny circle, or can this only happen if it's the only bunny alive?

According to the Quest bunny bits and the QCC, neither ‘Holographic Bunny’ nor any Halo’d bunny may be killed with a Terrible Misfortune. So none of the conditions you discuss are applicable.

Sorry, I should have quoted in my original post. From the Blue Bunny Bits: This is something I missed for almost a year and just now realized, but maybe I'm reading something wrong or it's been clarified since the release of the bits.

Sorry, I should have quoted in my original post. From the Blue Bunny Bits: This is something I missed for almost a year and just now realized, but maybe I'm reading something wrong or it's been clarified since the release of the bits. You are misinterpreting what that says. So, I'll start with this bit from the Heavenly Halo description in those very same Blue bunny bits: Your formatting mangled the original text, so I'll clean it up a bit: The last sentence ("This is also true...") refers to the current bullet, which says that you must place the Terrible Misfortune on an opponent's bunny if your only bunny is protected by the Heavenly Halo. That is, if the TM does not have a "viable target" of the player who drew the TM, then an opponent's bunny must be killed (if any). Or, if we rearrange the sentences (taking the liberty to focus on your point, but hopefully preserving that content accurately): If the player’s only bunny in The Bunny Circle is protected by The Heavenly Halo and a player draws a PLAY IMMEDIATELY card, then he must place the card on an opponent’s bunny in The Bunny Circle causing it to die (and be discarded). It does not say that the Terrible Misfortune will harm your Halo'd bunny. The Blue bunny bits (quoted above) are very explicit.

Wow. A definite miss on my part. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

If I have multiple bunnies and one with a Heavenly Halo on it, and I draw a TM card, may I choose to play it on bunny with a Heavenly Halo on it, thus negating the effects and discarding the TM card?

If I have multiple bunnies and one with a Heavenly Halo on it, and I draw a TM card, may I choose to play it on bunny with a Heavenly Halo on it, thus negating the effects and discarding the TM card? Short answer: No. Long answer: The Bunny Bits (as quoted in the Quest Card Companion) for Heavenly Halo state that the HH protects a bunny from all ... misfortune, which is what a Terrible Misfortune is: "The Heavenly Halo protects any one bunny from all harm (Weapons), hunger (Feed or Gorge The Bunny), misfortune (Terrible, Very Terrible, or Extremely Terrible) and abduction (Area 51 or Mothership)." For all of the Terrible Misfortunes, they follow this rule: A bunny MUST die with a Terrible Misfortune. If the drawing Player has no bunnies that can be killed, that Player may select any other eligible bunny in The Bunny Circle to die. If no viable targets exist, a ‘Terrible Misfortune’ is discarded. Neither ‘Holographic Bunny’ nor any Halo’d bunny may be killed with this Terrible Misfortune. If one of your bunnies can die as the result of a terrible misfortune, it does. If none of your bunnies can die (i.e., the Halo bunny or the Holographic bunny are your only bunnies, or you have no bunnies), then somebody else’s bunny dies. You get to choose who! Download a copy of the Quest Card Companion to get the instructions all in one place with fan clarifications. Only if there are no eligible (non-HH, non-Holo) bunnies in The Bunny Circle can a TM be discarded.
