when you get ice nine, usually it's followed by a really big weapon, and then it's no fun as you get a default nine, but I have a strategy to make it worthwhile
1. wait until either somebody plays ice nine on you, or you draw it 2. if weapons come your way, use defense, don't involve yourself in a dice roll! 3. play either supplies surprise, or SUPER supplies surprise
as they all roll the same, you recieve all the supplies as they're all lowest!

If there is a tie for lowest, do you receive both?

Their can't be a tie for the lowest since all dice rolled receive a value of nine.

yup, so they're all lowest, and dice re-rolls won't work as all dice instances all get a dice roll of nine

I have a question about this. With Super Supplies Surprise, if you used Ice Nine, would you receive everything plus everything again? Since you receive everything if twenty is the lowest, twenty plus all the other dice. This is probably confusing to lots of you, but those that understand, could you help?

I'd say you would get everything twice.
'Ice Nine' would work with the 'Magic Fountain' cards, too, by the way.

Yeah. I think nine is my lucky number today.

another nice use for Ice Nine is Weil's Chocolate.
I did spend one whole game holding refried pea's and ice nine waiting for my opponent to play his super supplies surprise (also had blue pawn and blue (white) pawn) and the re roll zodiac and 20 sided die). Netted 12 bunnies, 10 Carrots, 80 Dolla, 8 Defense, 12 Water, 10 Cabbage, 2 Pawns in 1 turn. Not bad I say. Granted I got real lucky rolling a 1 on the 20 sided twice.

Seems like every time I get Ice Nine I never have good opportunities to play it. It usually ends up being the card I hold onto forever, but force myself to simply discard later so I can make room for better, more immediately useful cards.

Actually, reroll capability is only for whomever has the pawns. You can only re-roll for your own play. No one can force you to re-roll...
