Hello Matt, > > This hasn't come up in any of my games yet, but if a players turn is skipped with cards like baker street or the Conch, do the roaming red run cards played by that player still roam during that round or do they stay in their current positions until that player has their next turn?
No, they keep roaming...!

This situation comes up in a lot of games that I play so I've been wondering about it for a while:
1) Can President Ficus and/or Incriminating Photos affect Enlisted Ranks if there IS NOT an officer Ranked Bunny in the Bunny Circle
2) Can President Ficus and/or Incriminating Photos affect Enlisted Ranks if there IS an officer Ranked Bunny in the Bunny Circle
>I had to look these answers up! Neither President Ficus nor Incriminating Photos has any independent effect on Enlisted Ranked Bunnies (HERB).

Hello Matt,
> I've thought of an interesting combo involving Trojan Bunny, but I need to know: > > Does a bounce-back/bounce-away such as with the Red or Pink Sinister Bunny count as launching a weapon to trigger Trojan Bunny? > No, it does not.

Hello Matt,
> Today, for the sake of what I'll call, "Magic Carrot science," I categorized all the cards alphabetically to see which letter was best for Alliteration Situation. This brought up for me quite a few scenarios that I realized I wasn't sure on: > > 1) I know that Alliteration Situation cannot be used to save cards, however if a player chooses Carrot Top Casino and has green pawn, is he allowed to save another use, does he get 2 uses immediately, or does he only get 1 use? > The second use can always be saved, most commonly by putting the pawn on the card to indicate that one use has already been done.
> 2.0) Can a player take Play Immediately cards from the discard?
Yes.
> 2.1) Can a player take Ranks and Senators from the discard?
Yes.
> 2.2) Can a player take Kaballa Dolla from the discard? If yes, must he spend it immediately?
Yes and yes.
> 2.3) Can a player take a Metal Card from the discard/metal-exchange? If yes, must he sell it for Kaballa Immediately?
Yes and yes.
> 2.4) I'm assuming not, but just to check, can a player take a Mysterious Place?
I can't imagine one would be in the discard pile, but if there was one in the discard pile then yes. >
> > 3) For the cards that start in a number and the card "1943", can anyone take these? > Technically, 1943 starts with an N.
> Thanks!
You're welcome!

Questions Jeff did not respond to:
A player has a bunny triplet. After playing his second card, he draws a terrible misfortune. He has Bunny on the Edge of Forever. Is the player allowed to use Bunny on the Edge of Forever to get a Do-Over on his turn and then decide not to use his bunny triplet, only playing one card, avoiding the terrible misfortune?
Perhaps a better question:
Is a player allowed to choose not to play 2 cards if he has a bunny triplet?
To quote the Bunny Bits, "If a player has three bunnies in The Bunny Circle that are the same color (Blue, Green, Orange, Violet or Yellow) or the same kind (Congenial, Gleeful, Lumbering, Sinister or Timid), then he may play an additional card per turn. This is called a Bunny Triplet."
or even
Is a player required to play a card on his turn?
To quote the Bunny Bits, "During a turn, each player may play a single card in one of four ways."
I've always been confused about the phrase
"More than one doubling card may be used at the same time to modify the Exchange Rate."
Does this mean that when multiple cards for doubling exchange rates at Morden's are played, all of them remain in effect for the rest of the game?
Question concerning the Forever Cabbage (and Water) in Fantastic Booster:
1). If a player uses Rock Bottom, does he also get Forever Cabbage? (Infinity / 2 = Infinity)
Thanks

Questions concerning the mysterious Yellow Ball:
> 1). Does the opponent have the option to discard the card, thus not playing it, thus avoiding the fate being controlled? > Once the card is revealed, the player loses control and the ball holder takes control.
> 2). Can the player with the yellow ball privilege save a special for himself that the opponent reveals as his top run card? > No.
> 3). How does the yellow ball affect a saved special that has only a continuous effect while saved such as Zero Protection from Fantastic Booster?
The player with the ball initially places the card wherever he wants (including the discard). Once assigned, there is no more interference.
> 4). If an opponent plays a saved special that can be controlled by the ball, is the player with the privilege able to control it, or is the player only able to control cards played from the top run position or hand?
yes it's only the top run card and play directly from hand they give you the ball with the red stripe privilege.

I noticed this apparent inconsistency between the "Get Out of Death Free" and "Insurance Porpoises" cards. In particular, the bold bits. In both cases, the bunny dies ("... bring any one bunny back to life..." i.e., it is dead and then comes back to life, and "... the bunny is killed..."), but what happens to the bunny modifiers is different. In the first case, they are discarded. In the second case, they remain on the bunny.
Wacky Khaki Bunny Bits:
0587: GET OUT OF DEATH FREE Get Out Of Death Free may be used once by a player to bring any one bunny back to life immediately. Must be used during the same turn as the death. May be used at any time! If the bunny was carrying any Bunny Modifiers, then they are discarded since the bunny was technically dead first, and then brought back to life.
Ominous Onyx Bunny Bits:
0666: INSURANCE PORPOISES Insurance Porpoises may be placed on any bunny along with 5 Dolla. If the bunny is killed, then the player may return it to The Bunny Circle at the start of his next turn and discard both Insurance Porpoises and the 5 Dolla. Bunny Modifiers remain with the bunny.
Yesterday (12/31/2017) I heard back from JB:

Clarification on Roll Substitution:
I have the Pink Timid bunny and play the card Carrot Top Casino. I roll the following dice all at the same time (Violet, Orange, Green, Yellow, Blue, Pink). The one roll on the Pink die may be used to substitute any one of the other rolls.
Jeff: Sounds right!

A bit of a contradiction here, but it may be safe to assume that Jeff forgot what ORP does and assumed I was asking if ORP could take away saved Chinese Zodiacs (which ORP can't because it's not one of the options on the roll. Furthermore, ORP cannot even attack a player with a saved zodiac)
Will cards that normally affect Zodiac cards affect the new Chinese Zodiac cards as well.
Jeff: Yes, absolutely!
For example, can ORP attack a player with a saved Chinese Zodiac?
Jeff: Yes.

The following are some questions concerning RPA asked over multiple emails:
If Random Paintball Assault is played on a bunny and two if the colors the for the highest roll, it would make most sense to me that the bunny becomes half and half the 2 colors (staying consistent with cards like Supplies Surprise) Is this correct?
Jeff: The bits are not specific on this point so I would say you were right. If there's a tie for highest, and black is not one of the highest, then the bunny would become all of the colors of the dice that our highest. I hope that makes sense.
Secondly, what happens if this result occurs when changing the color of a pawn?
Jeff: I would say the same rules apply.
I think there is a general understanding that Blanch and Random Paintball Assault cannot remove the special features of the Holographic Bunny, however can they change the color of the Holographic Bunny (again, perhaps helping with triplets or to help combo with cards like Blue Bunny Group)
Jeff: That is correct. The color changes, but not the features.
When Random Paintball Assault is played:
1. If a Gleeful Bunny becomes half-red half-orange, does it only get 1 Dolla per turn (matching the Half-Red half-orange gleeful from khaki booster)? Jeff: That's a good question, no one has ever asked that one. The answer is full red gleeful powers. It's not a half bunny, it's a double color!
2. If a gleeful Bunny becomes half-red half-green, does it still get the 1 dolla per turn (as it doesn't match the gleeful from khaki booster)?
Jeff: Full gleeful red powers again.
3. If a gleeful bunny becomes half-pink, half-orange, does it get any dolla per turn (as there is no half pink gleeful yet)
Jeff: I think the full answer applies here too.
4. If a gleeful bunny becomes red-green-orange (1/3-red) does it get any dolla per turn (as there is no 1/3 red gleeful)
Jeff: In this case, a triple color with full on all three.

#1249 Skint Scenario: In the rare scenario where all shops are closed, is the opponent required to discard all of his money, or does he keep it since there is nothing to buy?
Jeff: In the care where there is nothing to buy, the player must indeed discard all of his Dolla.

Let's say that you have Red Timid Bunny or another source of re-rolls and someone plays Poverty Poker. You roll a low number, reroll, and end up tied with another player. When rerolling the tie, does Red Timid Bunny let you reroll again?
Jeff: Yes.
If the Red Timid Bunny dies, who can get it back using Alliteration Situation: Ron or Tim? (Basically, is the color word part of the card's name? It's not physically printed there, but the card is shown as "Red Timid Bunny" in the official cardlist, etc.
Jeff: Ron
Speaking of card names, do subtitles count?
Jeff: No

Me: I have a question about the game mechanics of the Shockwave card. Since Shockwave does not move or squish (against Barriers) the Heavenly Halo-ed bunny or AngelWing-ed bunny or Holographic bunny...
QUESTION: If a Holo/Halo/Angel bunny cannot be moved, may other bunnies pass through them (to be squished by a Barrier) or are they squished (against a Holo/Halo/Angel bunny)? Or something else?
SCENARIO:
Consider a 4-player game:
Shown below, Player 1's bunnies are all "1", Player 2's bunnies are all "2", "B" for Barrier, and for sake of argument, Halo'd bunny = H, Angel'd bunny = A. Other players' bunnies are not shown. Say, Player 3 plays Shockwave to go between Player 1's and Player 2's bunnies.
Before Shockwave hits:
B111H1 22A2B
When Shockwave is initially played:
B111H1S22A2B
What does the final outcome of Player 1 and Player 2 bunnies look like? Since H and A don't move and aren't squished, do they act as barriers themselves or does the "1" to the right of H hop over H and get squished/discarded from hitting the left barrier "B" or do they not move because H is in the way .. likewise for Player 2's bunnies.. do the two "2"s left of "A" hop over "A" and get squished/discarded from hitting the right barrier "B" or do they not move because A is in the way?
BH AB - is the answer, since...
Jeff: Just treat the non-destructible bunnies as if they weren't there and you'll be fine.
