Attending Origins in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend, a vendor there had the Conquest game for sale. I picked it up Sunday. I am excited.....
There is another Market, where you purchase radish and milk, and feed the bunny cards to go along with the new food types. The carrots go from 21-32 with the yellow booster included. One Choose a Carrot type card tells you to roll a d12 and add 20 to it and take that carrot. You can buy all the carrots 1-32 from either market, but only radish/milk can be bought from the new market, cabbage/water from the first market. There are cards that affect prices and close and open the market - that's a given.
There is also a metal Exchange emporium, and 3 metal dice. The metal exchange lets you trade your metal cards in the exchange at the current rate for Kaballa dolla. The three metal dice are rolledat game start to determine the going exchange rate. When someone receives a carrot on his/her turn, they may reroll the metal dice. Trading carrots does not give this privilege.

Was there a promo of any kind available?
Oooooh I'm jealous.

Awesome. I ordered there too. Haven't got a confirmation email yet, but will be on the lookout for it. Just checked emails and I have shipping confirmation. The price at Boardgamehaus has jumped to $24.95 overnight. Guess they worked out it was listed at incorrect price, but they seem to have honoured my (and zerodemon's) pre-orders.

Nice pickup. How many were on sale? Was there a promo of any kind available? Oooooh I'm jealous. No promos. The vendor had quite the selection of Conquest available. I saw I believe at least 12 more on the shelves, not sure how many more they had in stock. This vendor was selling a good chunk of Playroom games, not only KB. The one they didn't carry was Kinder....but they had Chocolate boosters as well. The chocolates were sold out by mid Saturday, which made me glad I picked mine up Friday. I didn't see (err, rather, notice) Conquest in their booth until Sunday though, so maybe they had just got them in. The Conquest stash replaced their Odyssey starter boxes. I didn't notice if other vendors were selling Conquest, but I don't think so, since after I bought I stopped looking closely. The weird thing is, when I bought my Onyx and Chocolate Friday, the booth manager who rang the sale didn't mention Conquest was coming....maybe they weren't sure. The nice thing about the Conquest box though is that all the cards fit, along with all the bits. I had to take out the plastic card holder though. I still have to buy the 3 fan decks though....I hope to do that this weekend. I've been away from KB for too long. I played "in" my first game of it in over 3 years Friday. I've taught it a couple times since....just haven't played.

Yep, mine was shipped out yesterday with a tracking code and everything. I can't wait for this bad boy to arrive. Odyssey is great and everything, but I live in Montreal now and need a game I can play with anyone, not just people who also go out and buy the game.

The game came out? They haven't said that on the KB website!

The game came out? They haven't said that on the KB website! I am guessing that is the case. The vendor at Origins that was carrying Playroom games pretty exclusively had them Sunday. That's where I got mine.

how thick are the cards? Are they like original Quest, or are they like Odyssey?
