Oh. So I'm going to the sun after all ... And I just unpacked all my bags. Great.

Don't do it man, I tried running away from home many times when I was a kid. My mom just let me go. And now I spend all my time on a website posting with a bunch of people who play a game called Killer Bunnies.

I ran away from home too, but I always ended up back at home because I couldn't cross the street by myself and I wasn't supposed talk to strangers...

I ran into the same "don't cross the street" problem. I must have wandered around the block with my barbie box full of toys in my little red wagon at least 4 times before I gave up and went back inside the house.

I usually packed multiple stuffed animals into my bag, then made general plans to go to the Yukon. (Thanks to Calvin and Bill Watterson for the idea of the Yukon.) Then, I would sit on the front porch and weep, having come to the realization that I did not know where the Yukon was.
I also tried to run away after getting in a fight with my brother. I told him Mom would be mad at him for letting me run away. After coming back, my brother had locked me out of the house, and wouldn't let me in until after I apologized.
So I guess I wasn't the most colorful crayon in the box.

I just received the hardcover Calvin and Hobbes collection in the mail. Yep, I was excited. My mom bought me my first Calvin and Hobbes comic book when I was seven. Didn't really understand it all then, which meant that for a while, everytime I read the book, I got a few more of the jokes. What a great strip.

I sold the books to my sister so I would have an excuse to get the hardcover collection. I did keep my collectors edition of Watterson's last book and the 10th anniversary book. Get the hardcover collection Fif.

'It's a Magical World' was his last. He made a limited edition of the hardcover version and signed them all.
