Obviously, I think we can all agree that the best way to use this card is with a SSS. But, failing that, here are my top 5 other strategies: (I'm probably missing some, I did this in 2 minutes...) 5. Play this on an opponent and play a big weapon on him (Sea Whiz Mount, Black Hole, etc.) 4. Play this on yourself and play a Bakery (especially the Monumentally mad bakery) if you need food for your bunny. 3. Play this on a player who is going to play Straight Up or Day of the Dead. 2. Play this on yourself, play the Magic Fountain, and guess 9... 1. Play this on an opponent, then play a Casino or Royale on him. Is this a Run card? Because then you could play this with Retrieval and one of the P-Cards up above...

Wait, what does the card itself do?

Man, option #2 could REALLY save your skin! (And wouldn't immediately cause a target to appear on your back, like some of the other options!)
(Of course, you could always use it on someone that the O.R.P. was visiting...)

I wonder if this card CAN be played on yourself... While the Bits do say "may be given to any player," the rest of the text kinda makes it sound like it can only be played on others. I guess we won't know for sure until we see the actual card text.

I don't think so Maelic, after all, if it had to be played on another player, why would they use SS as an example...
Also, when an opponent plays 1943 or Low Jack Kojak when they have Norman...
Also on yourself with pilfer the pawn to grab them all in one card...

Just hope someone doesn't have the "Silver Lining" and adjusts the die roll by 1.
I believe cards that say "any player" can be played that way. I've used "Run Amok" on myself before when I've had bad run cards...
Also, the way the instructions read, it is when the "player plays a card" - so if someone else plays a weopon on them - THEY did not play the card, so therefore that wouldn't qualify...

Is this a Run card? Because then you could play this with Retrieval and one of the P-Cards up above... It does look like it is a run card.

I think it's a special, it says discarded after one use after all...
Also I use run amok all the time on myself actually abnegazar...

The way the Khaki list is set up, you can tell it is a run card. All the run cards are grouped together in alphabetical order and it is between two cards that we know are run cards.
Here is another question.
Let's say someone has this card played on them. Someone else plays Earthquake on one of his bunnies. The bunny would need to roll higher than a 10, right? Ice Nine would make the roll an automatic 9. But now let us also say the player has the black pawn. Could he then reroll the black die and try to roll higher than a 10?
I would say yes.

Maybe I am just misunderstanding the card but wouldn't all rolls be made a nine, whether it was a reroll or not? In that case, even if you used a black pawn to reroll the die, it would still be a nine and wouldn't do any good. Am I right??

I think that after being used once, i.e. the black die is a nine, Ice Nine would then be discarded, allowing you the black pawn reroll function.

My vote definitely goes to playing this card on yourself if you have an Incredibly Magic Fountain (or make a deal to play it on someone who does...). Getting back that many bunnies from the pile - especially at the end of a game would be rockin' (but then, there's always Leif or a Shockwave come to humble you... )

I disagree with you, Nate. I think that the re-roll would still be a part of the original roll. (And my favorite is the this card-ORP combo. That would be a killer! )

Yes, the Ice Nine-ORP combo would be absolutely devastating! Looks like Ice Nine-Viva Las Vegas would be an auto loss for whoever has I9 played on them!
