I received my first Killer Bunnies Deluxe Kickstarter packages today. Included was a T-shirt, a few promo cards, a Sinister pin, the hard-copy of the Deluxe rule book, the Highest Ranked Officer and Enlisted pins, and a 2011 Playroom catalog.
Really? 2011 Catalog?

Today, my Deluxe KB Quest set arrived!
Yahoo! Only 2 months late (but better late than never), though Playroom was keeping us reasonably well informed about the delay. I'd guess it will be showing up at retail "soon" (if that is part of the plan).

Dang. I've really been out of the KB loop. A friend of mine apparently told me about the Kickstarter thing, but I must have completely blocked it out, because I don't remember at all. How's it look, Davii?

I'll post some pictures by the end of this weekend by mid-week. So far, I've looked at the Yellow Ball with a Red Stripe (2-D and 3-D versions are included!) and the Phi and Theta promo sets, but not much else in the box.
I made QCC entries for all of the new cards and I ran across something interesting: a reference to "Super Celebrity Bunnies". Does a new class of card lurk somewhere within? Only a full unboxing will reveal that!
Stay tuned for pictures.
[Edit: the weekend got crazy and I wasn't able to take pictures. Sorry.]

Does anyone know what Playroom is referring to in this update? I don't want to go card by card to find out what's possibly misprinted, but I also don't want to miss out on getting the right materials:

How's it look, Davii? Hi 'Vico—Long time, no hear. Since your cards are consistently the most popular fan art cards on MagicCarrot.com, would you consider working on an Advantageous Carrot set for Conquest?!

Here are a couple of e-mails I have sent to Playroom about the Deluxe version:
Just finished going through the Game Instructions that were included with the Deluxe Set that I purchased through the Kickstarter program. Someone has made an error with the Twilight Bunny Bits. The cards are not in numerical order like they are with the rest of the book. Also, a good portion of the bits have been left out. Portions left out include the bits on Heavenly Halo Handoff, O.R.P., Random Rotational Roaming, Return A Carrot, and Shockwave. The Twilight Bits on the Killer Bunny website are messed up also. It looks like that is where you took your information from. If you look at the PDF file from the website or the paper directions included with the Booster, you will see what information is missing. (Even the PDF file is not totally correct though. Some of the directions for Carousel were incorporated into the directions for O.R.P.)
Thanks,
Nathan
Opened up the box last night and started to go through everything. Only had a limited amount of time but a couple things I noticed:
1. Don't see the printed list of supporters anywhere. 2. Card 0141 - Incorrectly titled as Card Modifier instead of Bunny Modifier 3. Card 0216 - Rooney's Weapons Emporium has the Red Sinster Bunny back instead of the Grey backing like the other shops. 4. Card 500 - The Z for the Zodiac die should have been taken off this card. You can't substitute the pink die for the Zodiac die so it should have never been put on this card in the first place. 5. Card 584 - We are past 2009 so I don't understand why this year was placed on this card.
Thanks,
Nathan
Is card 216 the same for everyone?

I post probably once every two years but that Kickstarter was enough to get me pumped. I tore threw it a little while ago (#0338 if we're posting who got what number).
Count me in as not seeing any list of supporters in my box.
Other things I noticed:
Never knew there was a 5 water voucher...
The pink die and pink pawn are a sharper pink than when the Pink deck originally came out. Kind of hard to explain but it's definitely a different shade of pink.
Furry Wall is one of those cards I always wondered why it never existed... Also, Carrot Steve is a nice tribute.
Cyber Bunny's (0054) background graphic is different, I believe.
Ditto The Minilith's (0147) and Activate the Minilth's (0183) backgrounds.
Also, The Minilith (0147) now has a pink circle in the middle of the pink rectangle. I feel like I used to know what that distinction meant but I'm forgetting it at the moment. It's the same configuration as the pink rectangle and circle on PSI Corps (0739).
Rooney's Starter (0216) does have a red background as mentioned above.
Random Dolla (0329) is now a weird khaki color instead of orange.
LA Tape Worm (0361) now has a green background.
The symbols on Psychic Waves (0400) are no longer color-coded and the bunny head is missing. I think it might have been replaced with a cross?
Calcite Conundrum (0405) has a yellow background.
Pink Timid (0500) does have the "Z" on it, as mentioned above. Same for "2009" being on "Venus Cycle."
Additionally, Pink Timid (0500) originally had an "H" on it along with the "T" and "Z." That "H" is now missing.
Identity Crisis (0648) now has hills in the background.
Overall, it's a stellar package. I got my money's worth, and at the end of the day, I have a great back-up set to my existing one.

It's the same configuration as the pink rectangle and circle on PSI Corps (0739). I believe that the pink circle in the pick rectangle means you have to have a bunny down to save the card.

Pink circle in the box means you need to maintain at least one bunny in the bunny circle to keep the card saved. When a player does not have a bunny in the bunny circle, this card is discarded.

Hello Nathan, Thank you for contacting us about this. We will be sure to follow up with the creative to figure out what happened. In the meantime, we hope that you’re enjoying the game! All the best, The Playroom Entertainment Team 818.432.1112 Hello Nathan, Thank you for letting us know about these things. We will follow up with the creative team behind the game about the card issues that you have mentioned below. The supporters list can be found inside the catalog that was included with you shipment (to keep it safe in transit). If you don’t find it there, please let us know. All the best, The Playroom Entertainment Team 818.432.1112 I must have thrown out the list of supporters when I threw out the catalog from 2011. I guess it's not a huge deal. I kind of think that they should replace the rule book with the complete bunny bits like we were promised. Someone should have proof read it before it went to print. It only took me a 1/2 hour to find the omission. I also think they should replace cards 141 and 216. I was looking for the perfect version/copy of this game and received another imperfect copy. Is it too much to ask for?

^I assure you, there was no supporters list in my catalog, either. Then again, that catalog was from 2011, so maybe it's possible the wrong catalogs were sent out.
However, there was a "Buyer's Guide" included that showed off a brief (and I mean brief) snippet of Journey to Jupiter that at least gave names to the remaining expansions (Ultra Violet, Orbital Orange, Galactic Green and Other World). I know because I just went back through the stack of stuff that came in the box and there was no supporters list to be found in any document they sent.
I know one of the Kickstarter update e-mails did have the supporters list .pdf in it, so there's that.

I had the list of supports in my set. It was cheaply printed on card stock from a laser printer :\
Still wondering why Playroom sent out such a serious email saying that so many people have noticed problems with the set. Who are these people? And what are the serious problems?

Received my set. It survived the journey to Australia unscathed - amazingly. I haven't had the chance to flip through it yet but will do so soon. I did have a look at the new cards, just to see mine TheDavii, have you received the bonus copies of your card? I still haven't received any bonus items (pins, t-shirt etc.) and figured it'd all show up together. But above you mentioned that you have already got your bonuses. I may have to fire Playroom an email.
