Terrible Misfortune.
Roll a 20-sider, that carrot is Juiced, and removed from the game. If the carrot was owned, the former owner may take a water card from Kaballa's.
If the juiced carrot was the 'winning' carrot, then noone wins the game.

oooh, I can't imagine playing for a couple of hours and not having a winner ... although the carrot countdown would be quite interesting when you get down to the last 5 or so.

That's a lot like my first card idea. The rogue bunny, he goes to kaballa and eats the rest of the carrots and the game ends. If nobody had the winning carrot, nobody wins

I don't think I'd like a game where nobody wins

Note casual sexism*.
*There must be a more mild word than "sexism", but I don't know what it is. So there.

...but if you take off the 'ism' in your post, it takes on a new meaning....

To avoid having no winner.. How about removing a card from the carrot deck and having that one juiced in the same way.. It should probably be removed from the bottom just to make it extra cruel

you mean, no roll? Just take the bottom carrot out of the little deck? And watch as the player who had that card loses hope completely? no... That's not fun

how about you get rid of the bottom little carrot card but not the corresponding large carrot card?
then there's a free carrot floating around! Then nobody wants to buy it unless they are tired of the game and want to end it

I had a similiar idea about removing carrots DURING play and I LOVE it. It would be even more hilarious/depressing if the person who played the Carrot Juicer had what WOULD have been the winning carrot in the end.
I don't like that it's a Play Immediately, though. I think the player should be able to chose if he wants to play it or not. Maybe make it a Very Special card, so that if you save it, everyone will see it and you could be like, "I swear, if anyone comes after me, I'm gonna use this!" Haha, I know I would.
