Special card:
Graphic: a tuxed up bunny presenting a carrot shaped diamond ring, with a sheepish/hopeful grin.
Text: This bearer of this card may present one carrot (the ring) to any player with bunnies up, as a bunny marriage proposal. If the player accepts one of their bunnies goes to live with the offerer of the ring as those bunnies are now married.
What do you think, too weird?

That's pretty good, would come in handy near the end of the game for someone with lots of carrots and no (or one) bunny - although you could probably do a verbal trade like that anyway. What if it is an arranged marriage and the second player is forced to accept the carrot for bunny deal? Also, if you make it very special, someone could play the card after the zodiac draw, but before the magic carrot is revealed - this could eliminate someone from the carrot draw, and for pure evil sakes, you could give the carrot to someone, steal their only bunny, and then get the carrot back (plus all the others that player owns) if you have the most dolla! I'm getting carried away, but I totally love this card!!!

Yes ok *smile* I'm into shotgun marriages. That could be part of the graphics I suppose - daddy bunny with a shotgun - only the 'groom bunny' would then obviously be sweating profusely.
I admire your devious masterminding, even if I don't understand it - get there carrots? You can buy other player's carrots after they are all drawn? Hadn't thought of that. TEXT

I noticed in another thread that you do not like the zodiacs. The zodiac cards are in fact quite useful. After all of the carrots have been taken, you then proceed to the zodiac draw (before you reveal the magic carrot). If you have the big zodiac card that matches the small zodiac card, you are allowed (among other things) to move a single bunny from one player to an adjacent player. If a player has only one bunny and you move that bunny (leaving him/her with no bunnies), then they cannot win (you need a bunny to win). Players with no bunnies must give all of their carrots to the player with the most dolla (and a bunny). I hope that this clarifies what I meant. It is in fact (even though you didn't mean to do it) potentially a very, very nasty card, and I will add that this is my favorite card idea to date (sorry La Banda Coniglio Funesto).

Only beef I have with this card is that it pretty much is already incorporated in the rules under the "beg, borrow, wheel, deal, blackmail" section. I don't need this card to say "I'll give you a carrot for your bunny" and then let them think about whether or not they should do it. If you have the card force whomever to trade ala Carrot Exchange... call it "Shotgun Wedding with a 1 Carrot Ring" and give the person a bonus if they kill the bunny they exchanged a carrot for, or something... (not to be a poo-poo'er... but I don't think this quite got to CHOF status, whit... it's just LotH flirting with a Canadian woman )

I liked LotH's idea about the arranged marriage, and the title and picture would be cool enough that I thought it was good. Besides, I'm a mod and you're not, so whatever I say goes.

There's the fascist dictator I've been waiting to see rear his head Work it, whit... You have to admit though... LotH was tryin' to charm the Canadian woman and that's the only reason this idea didn't get buried.

Since nobody has illustrated this in the nearly 3 years the idea has been posted, I present my take on One Carrot Ring: I intend to illustrate all of the MC.com CHoF cards before I return to my own card ideas. As with all of my cards, it is meant to be printed at 150 DPI so it will be exactly 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Enjoy!

I like the illustration... raising resolution doesn't change physical size...

I like the illustration... raising resolution doesn't change physical size... It shouldn't, but not every software package honors the picture's internal specification of resolution. My pictures are 375 pixels wide X 525 pix tall. If software assumes a value (especially web browsers) like 100 dpi, they'll print too big (or, as shown on screen) rather than the correct size. That's why I tell people what the resolution is. One person PM'ed me asking why they print too big. I export them at 300 dpi and shrink them to 150 dpi for posting here, so the pictures have 1/4 (1/2^2) the resolution of the "original" file, but more manageable and print about the same (depending on the printer, of course).

This idea doesn't belong here but it is fairly good.

Neither does your comment.
But, inexplicably, they're both here!

seems hareball is leaving comments all over that are unmerited... hmm instead of just coming up with his own ideas... hmmm it seems extremely logical as to why it was here and what does it matter?

This idea doesn't belong here but it is fairly good. Ideas don't get here unless they are nominated and seconded and obviously this one was and therefore it does belong here, and deservedly so...
