What's the consequence for breaking silence when using the conch? Anything drastic?

What's the consequence for breaking silence when using the conch? Anything drastic? "The Conch effectively stops all trades of both SUPPLIES and DOWNS for two full rounds of play unless initiated by the player holding the card. But we are also very serious about the silence. A player who speaks must return a Carrot, or discard a Zodiac (Green Booster Deck) or Mysterious Place (Onyx Booster Deck) cards for each word spoken. Players without objects will forfeit turns of play."

Does anybody here have the conch, and access to a decent scanner? I recently bought bunny blanks, and this is the one Omega I'd like to add to my deck (sometimes, silence is golden). If anybody would send me a PM if you can do that, that be great.

You know that one person that you play with becasue their your friends significant other and you don't have enough people with out them and they have that voice( you know the one I'm talking about) and you just wish they would hush up FOREVER! Yeah that's when I play it

Use it when you have the highest ranked officer, and someone else has the highest enlisted bunny. That way they can't ask to use the highest enlisted bunny's power. That's not a bad one, either. How about using the 'Conch' and then using 'Shazbot' on someone at the same time? If they get mad and accidentally say a naughty word, not only do they lose a Carrot because of 'Shazbot,' but they feel the pain of 'Conch,' too!

One that I've played, but I decided it is illegal because it gives the conch way to much power, is go through each player and say "How about you trade all your belongings for this one cabbage card? If you disagree just say so." Although you would have to make sure that you made at least better deals than throwing away a carrot. So actually it would be more like one carrot for one cabbage so they would consider trading so they would at least get one cabbage. This is a rule that can take all the fun out of the game, though. That's something that's really hard to do with killer bunnies.

Moosh, of course that makes the conch too powerful, but i don't think the card was ever designed to be able to do that. Sure, a reading of the card might loosely translate as that being legal, I think it's merely poor wording. We play that no player can be forced with a player without consent at any time. If they are able to express thier wishes with gestures or head-shaking, they can deny a deal.
By the way, Hi again everyone. I kinda had a leave of absense for a while.

Yes, that is why I stopped doing it, but in most cases, if you can stretch the use of a card in killer bunnies for your own personal gain, I generally do it.

I think if would be far better if you had the Highest enlisted and played it, that way the Highest officer couldn't answer and therefore you get to play your card without having to ask. Or does anyone think that a yes or no head nod would be an appropriate answer for the highest officer and therefore the Enlisted would still have to ask, I guess the Enlisted would have to ask more that a yes no to make sure the Officer couldn't answer(unless the officer didn't mind losing a carrot)

I like the idea of the officer playing it so that the enlisted can't ask. ;D
