I have found an interesting way to play Pink Timid. It requires you to have two sets of these colored dice. Blue, Red, Violet, Orange, Black, Green, and Red. I have an extra set because I own two sets of the first couple decks. So, every time I roll a card that uses multiple dice (like SS or Magic Fountain), I would roll one set of dice first, then roll the other dice (that match the same colors) second. You have to keep these rolls seperate, though. The second roll would be considered the pink dice roll. That way I have a choice of which die to pick for every color. You just pretend that the second roll are all pink dice.
Also, by keeping the two rolls seperate from each other, you can reroll dice for the pawns you own. For instance, if you own the blue pawn you could re-roll the first blue die you rolled, but not the second. The second would be considered the pink die, so you would only be able to re-roll it if you had the pink pawn. I have found that it really speeds up our game if someone owns Pink Timid.
Make sense?

Makes perfect sense. Before using Pink Timid on those cards was a pain in the rear......

Love it. Can you get extra colored 12-sided die at a game shop? (I am sure this has been a previous thread somewhere...)
And, just to clarify, the pink timid (and, I assume red timid) doesn't require the player to throw out the first roll before rolling a second time?

Pink timid is die substitution, so you roll both dice and pick which one to use. Red Timid is a reroll, and you have to examine the 1st roll and choose if you want to reroll. If you reroll you're stuck with the 2nd result.

You might find some similar dice if you look hard enough. Might have to do what Nathan did, though, and just get extra KB decks for those dice. I wonder if Playroom would be so kind as to give me extra, haha. Good idea though, for sure.

Hmm, I was kind of hoping to not have to pay that much money to get an extra die. I am going to have trouble convincing my wife I need a second set. Maybe she'll go for that new card smell.

just tell Playroom you broke all of yours... I'm kidding, we support those who produce games as good as these, we don't short-change them by trying to get freebies...

Yeah, but since Playroom was giving away their Omegas, technically we still aren't ripping them off. At least I don't think Playroom is selling 12 Omegas on E-bay for $500. Wait a minute...

I use two sets of dice. It makes it easy when you get to pick between rolls. Also if someone gives you something for free take it and be happy. Late if somebody wants to give you a ton of cash for it jump for joy. You just got your game for free.....
